Please stay away from this movie or even from reviewing this movie, if you liked/loved DHOOM 2 And/Or Veer-Zaara And/Or Tararaarapumpum And/Or Krishh And/Or "those" types of movies. I guess you get the drift.

I'll keep it short this time, because I feel there are a niche audience who have already liked this movie or will get a DVD for viewing purposes and a whole bunch of others who won't even come close to understand this movie or even a part of it and will dissmiss it as the worst movie of the year( HOW can anyone forget Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, AAG et all?)

Kashyap introduces us toK(John) in his own distinct way when he is locked up in remote jail in Siberia and is itching for a Ciggi. After some bizzare set of incidences he winds up in his own bathtub and thus the titles rolls in, kicking off a whole other bunch of bizzare characters and situations. The Basic Premise of the movie is based on the short stint in'Darna Mana Hai'. K who is an arrogant cynic is a chain smoker, I guess chain smoker would be an understatement. He smokes and smokes and then some more, be it his bathroom or lift or bedroom. His wife Anjali(Takia) is fed up of this habbit and eventually gives him a ulitimatum and so as suggested by his friend(Shorey) he givies visit to Prayogshala run by Baba Bengali(Paresh).

Now what follows is a complete distortin of reality as a result of his enrollment in this prayogshala, Baba takes complete control over his life both physically and mentally, infact especially mentally.

Now what I would like to mention is that Kashyap intended to make this movie more than just a man getting over his addiction to smoking, it's about a arrognat man who wants to do things on his own against the system(prayogshala). You have to put various things into perspective in order to get the drift of things that go on in the movie. There are many Dream sequences and some parallel versions of realitly viz mind and body.

As far as cast is concerned, John spearheads with his best role till date and is brillant. I didn't personally like Takia's role that much, as in her role was now so well defined. Ranvir and Paresh were at their usual best.

In my opinon where Anurag went somewhat haywire is that he became somewhat too much self-indulgent, he took few things for granted and some part of 2nd half got little bit messed up and also some due to editing. But what I feel is that atleast his tried weaving a complex script which demand some attention from the viewers.I personally loved this movie and would prefer some new experimental cinema instead of watching same run of the mill movies anyday.

This movie will make an impact on you mind and will get stuck in your head, long after the movie is finished, irrespective of your liking towards the movie.
