Nice Review buddy. maybe when you get time, would be nice if you could elaborate a bit on few more details about the Car. it seems you have driven only 30km at the time of review.maybe you can write more after driving more. and ya, could you quote the mileage that you are getting in Bangalore. Also,... from which dealer did you buy your car. I'm planning to get this same car. BTW.. good choice with the color.Read More

@m_harish : Your weight and back pain is not of concernw hen it comes to avenger. Back pains get worse when you ride sports kind bikes like Apache and Pulsar. Avenger is good for that purpose, and you weight is not a concern, you can ride smoothly on this bike. Only point of concern is your Height. ...i still dunno the height limit till what i can suggest. maybe you can take a test ride and decide for your self in this factor. I've seen tall people happily riding this bike, but some complain.. so i'll suggest you take rest ride when it comes to your height, rest all is of no concern when it comes to Avenger.Read More

@satya : man you are asking for comparison between two different league.. ZMR is a sports segment where as Avenger is a cruiser type.

Buddy you could make this a little more informative then it would have been better.. for instance the mileage, how good is the DC circuit and battery life.. maybe a little word on how comfortable the bike is.. in what sense you call it a touring bike ?? is it suitable for long rides.. say 300km in a... day... I know its only 5 month or more for you but little more info would have been great.. appreciate your initiative and effort for the review.. thanks buddy..Read More

I totally agree with your views buddy.. even i've had bad experience with the ezone guys.. Products that you get on the spot is OK but products that need home delivery/ customer service are worst ever. I had the terrible experience with washing machine and microwave oven.

Hi Harsha.. a little Correction with the Tyre Pressure thing (Guess a little communication mistake) : Front is 22 and not 28, rear is 25 to 28 and not more depending on your comfort level. I keep it as 28. @annaso : Gas suspension is not an option for Avenger. Gas suspension is longer than the co...mpany fitted ones.Read More

Hi Harsha, I can truely understand what you are going thru and trust me i've gone through the same. My frens have complained a lot and in fact even i faced this prob once when i was in the pillion seat. well here are a few suggestion: 1. If your pillion is a heavy weight person then keep the... pressure as 28 else 25 is just fine. Front tyre 22 is sufficient. 2. The shock absorber is a 5 coil adjustable spring. Ask the person to keep the suspension in between medium and soft. if you keep is at soft then the Shock absorber will get a little bouncy and the chanin will slacked too fast. So keep it on medium or little towards soft. 3. When you are going over a pothole, either brake before you go over the pothole or dont brake at all. When you break, the suspension are a little compressed so there is not enough scope for suspension to work. As for the Skid part : 1. Any bike will skid over sand/dust on a tar road. 2. It is upto you to handle that, either you break before you run on sand or dont do it at all and you are safe. If you want to slow down then just leave the throttle of engine, it will automatically slow down. In general, mind you that the pillion seat is not at all as comfortable as te rider's. also you need to get used to the seat used. its comfortable but you need to get used to seating on that for long time and in that posture. it takes little time. have patience.Read More

Hi Harsha, Well thats not a bad choice at all.. Congrats on your new bike.. Happy for you.. Dont worry Avenger wont let you down.. Like you metioned, its about Cost factor.. well thats true.. you've got a good package for less cost. As for resale value..well there is a resale value as there ar...e people who want to buy this bike.. my bike which has 20k KM and 1.5 yrs old will fetch me anywhere between 45k to 50k and if i get the right customer, then a little more. It all matters how you keep it and where you sell it..Read More

@nishant : even if you try the new FI it wont help you much.. Avenger200cc does not have that either.. its got only DTSi and twin spark. I'd suggest tht you let it be the way it is. Fi wont help the riding feeling or anything for that matter, maybe mileage but again not worth it. @thaksi : you ar...e welcome buddy.. Happy for you.. you got a lovely bike.. whats the on road price that you are paying ?? @nanoharsha : I'd suggest you go for a thunderbird TS considering your build. Avenger is a low lying bike and long, and it wont look good. thunderbird is taller and it'll suit you perfectly well. If you wanna go for Avenger then its Khivraj Motors. They even have a showroom in Marathalli/whitefield. Take a test ride of both before you buy..Read More

On giving a second thought and riding both all over again over last weekend.. i'll say that you go for Eliminator as it has a very good riding feel, smoother engine, gear box and cluthes. Engine is of Kawasaki and it wont let you down.. try riding both once.. never know who can inclined towards what.....Read More

I'd say Bajaj Avenger 200.. its is upgraded and better in many ways.. 1. Better Power and pickup 2. New Bike so you can mould it with your style of riding 3. Oil Cooled is obviously better than air cooled.. Engine heating does not happen and you can go on Long rides without any prob. 4. Avenger... is a DTSi engine so obviously you'll get better mileage than Eliminator. 5. Eliminator you can get good riding feel only if it is very well maintained and serviced.. But avenger is new so you can decide how you want it to be.. 6. last but not the least.. you'll have better resale value if you intend to sell your bike after a year or so.Read More

I seriously doubt whether this car is worth all the hype.. my brother owns a Maruti Alto and its a very good car, be it on highway, city, or hilly region.. it serves the purpose very well.. What i want to know is, should i go for a nano with more of Cons than Pros or invest a little more and... get a better package ?? TATA dealers are bad and so are the service center guys. TATA is treated like a govt sector where even if you complain, there is no response.. Read More

TATA guys really suck big time in terms of customer relationship.. well you are right.. this car was just too hyped about and 80% money paid.. so its just bullying.. why dont you try customer Forum or reach the Regional office or Head office and clarify this...

Buddy.. trust me ths bike is better.. let me help you with each of your prob.. 1. No Kick Start and only self start : well my bike is 17 months old and not a single prob till date. Battery is really strong and works really good. either way you need to change the battery after about 20,000KM bu...t i doubt i need to do that , even though i'm almost on 20k.. 2. Mileage : Thats anyday better than your FZs or any Royal enfield. Its got 200cc and gives me a mileage above 40km/ltr .. In B'lore City and pathetic traffic i get avg of 42 and on highway its 46.. what more do you want. it depends on how you ride.. thats all.. 3. Neutral : well thats kinda a prob. Not that you cant goto neutral but needs a little extra effort.. This bike is good.. test ride it and you'll not regret it..Read More

@prashetty : purchasing and maintainance of Thunderbird will be much more than Avenger. here is my take on he confusion : 1. On road Thunderbird costs about 25-30k more. 2. Mileage <= Avenger 3. Spare parts are more costly for Thunderbird 4. Servicing cost is almost double as compared to Av...enger.. 5. Even avenger can ride for hours non stop and comfortably.. Thunderbird has good technology just like Avenger i.e twin spark and all.. Ride is smooth in thunderbird, no doubt about that.. pretty comfortable.. there is a Brand factor and the obsession of Royal enfield but you need to consider lots of stuffs.. I wanted thunderbird as well but i've called it off and happy with avenger.. obviously if i upgrade to next bike if not car then it'll be Thunderbird but only after i get rich.. Your Call buddy.. but research well..Read More
