donno..around 45 I find the bike smooth..after 55 - 60 which i find difficult to reach,the engine sounds as if like it got stuck up at that gear Is there some tuning whic is reqd ...or something as I find the bike's top speed to mentioned arnd 110 kmph Recently i tried taking the bike over 70..At... 80 the engine got shut off and needed to start the bike again..after coming to a halt... any clues?? @Susmit--- Yes unicorn is an awsome bike..used to ride my frds bike..and used to enjoy it greatly.. Now the back pain doesnt seem to be that intense... a lil stiffness tats it!! Must be i am getting used to the sitting position!! @Neelabh --- Hav a new issue,for the avenger pro's The engine se...ems to be getting heatd up and yesteday i noticed a weird kind of smelll from the engine...and hav difficulty in taking the bike above 50-60 Feels like I am over powering it..IT isnt smmooth.. @Gadgetguru ... Yeah i shoudl hav driven it for a longer ride.had a short test ride..didnt feel tat it was uncomfortable... And by the way I found a guy who was 6ft 1 inchhes...at the khivraj motors last time when i gave my bike for first service..talked to him for a while...he said that he was dri...ving it for past 1 year and had no no complaints.... SO I think so need to get used to it.. lets see. anyways thanks for ur views!!Read More

wats ur height by the way!!As i bought one recently...loving it occasionally...but still not how i would have liked it to be.. I am 6 ft... had backache issues ,.but it seems to be slowly getting out of the exhaust now... Yes,I just checked my shocks and found them to be in very soft..ie in 1st position out of 5.. i think so need to put it @ 3.. Might be due to the up and bouncy movement ,it might hurt.. But one thing i feel is that the shock directly often does hit the back!! Any of u noticed the same??

Hi nilabh, Thanks once again.. was eagerly or infact helplessly waiting for ur reply I think so the shock absorbers arebetter than before. But the main problem with me now is that the backpain i ve developed. I ride on the marathalli to white field road everyday. U might be knowing its a ...wonderful road. But still the pain comes back and my ride duration is hardly 20 mins one way. My posture : Normally i am person who leans forward a lil. But on the bike i have to sit straight. Is it that which causes the pain. As i feel 20 mts is very lil time to develop some pain. Let me know if anything is wrong or i need to change The guy who delivered the bike slightly adjusted the angle of the handle of the bike so that i could see the rear view mirrors properly. Is that a thing i need to check also. Would be great if i can call u up and talk once if possible. hi nilabh, Been 4 days since i bought the bike. And here I am with a big issue :( I went around the bike in bangalore for about 40 kms on the second day along with my frd. We noticed that the schock absorbers were giving us big jerks each time we went over small to medium ditches. There was i...nfact very less dampening,. I could infact hear my frd shout in pain. So not sure whats the problem. I felt the prob was wih the schcok absorbers or the tyre pressure. So i went to khivraj,indra nagar where i bought the bike,and the guy went on a ride and said that he had adjusted teh shock absorbers,and after waiting for 30 mts he came out with a pin and decreased the air pressure and toled that it would be fine. On the ride back home i still felt the same feeling. Not to say i couldnt get out of bed for one whole day after the 40km ride. So u canimagine thepain. It was simply very bad. SO please suggest,if you faced such similar issues. As I am feeling sick physically and mentally :) after the first week of me buying teh bike. Any advice would be great. Also one more thing i noticed was teh back tyre skids badly in sand and dust on d roads. I almost made a 30 degree arc when i pressed on the rear bikes. The tyre pressure before was 30 as per khivraj. And now its 25 in rear. FYI Long one i suppose but that reflects my feelings currently !!Read More

Hi neelabh, Thanks for the reply,but i booked the avenger. Couldnt resisit myself any more. Also the price factor was important for me. Dont know what pulled me,from the first time i rode it i simply liked it. Will keep you posted about how i feel driving. Getting it delivered on 2nd of new ...year.:) Hope so i enjoy it. The only other thing that keeps my mind sometimes occupied is the resale value,as i am not going to stay at bang,but who cares is what i think then. Also i have uploaded some photos of the bike @ the show room.Check out and let me know how it suits. I felt it was ok. Also please suggets on the wind shield,how would it add to the looks. It is a bit costly for sure.Read More

Hmmm.. Even I am confused bw Thunderbird TS and Avenger!!! Thanks for all thehelp.. First rode this bike in GOA last year,and fell in love the first time itself... Can you please let me know where in bangalore should i buy the bike for a good delivery and for further support,I live in marathalli...!! And also sugest on the look factor!!
