i m quite surprised to read this review as i too have touched 9000 kms and haven't faced any of these issues. suggest you contact Tata motors big guys, above GM level as this is quite serious and need thier attention. Service wise, Tatas still operate like govt. agency as they do not take action aga...inst erring employees. It's a life time employment I guess.Read More

hey sansumania, i am getting 11kms/litre on petrol. Car has done about 2800 kms. I contacted the dealer recently and they have assured me above 14 after 2nd service @5000kms when tuning would be done. however, u may want to have this checked with ur local dealer before u take a call

just go ahead and buy it. you will be glad with your choice. the car is very good in space, design, comfort and best features in it's class. Diesel and petrol engines are proven beyond doubt as they are from fiat stable. Car moves effortlessly even at 140kms with 5 people. What more are you looking ...for? At this price tag, its just a very good value for moneyRead More

hey sujit, the car is just too good. I agree there is a blind spot. But I am staying in hills and most of my driving is on ghat roads. I have not experience this issue and neither has driver told me anything. I am of 5'10' height and my driver 5'4'. Maybe, I should ask him now. But believe me, thi...s is a damn good car otherwise.Read More

i have fixed a rear sensor in manza from tata motors (RF Kochi) costing 3.75k. it comes with voice activation and gives you distance from object. Its very effective. Anyway, nice review gegonbones. Gud to see a happy customer of swift d'zire. I did not go for it as I thogt design was too old and new... d'zire comes with just 1.2 lt petrol engine. Another thing that tipped the balance was poor rear seat comfort. Otherwise,d'zire is a good car.Read More

mohan, it's a great review. i too have done 1200kms on my manza petrol. The car is very powerfull and it feels like you are driving a 1.6ltr engine. Comfort and ride quality are way above competition. I too was surprised to find out about oil change and could not believe it. However, I believe oil... is much costlier than the normal one. My family enjoys travelling in this car and is far better than 1.6 ltr fiat petra or 1.2 ltr d'zire or 1.6 lt. ford ikon (I have travelled in these cars on many trips as many of my friends own them). Hopefully, people will start understanding that TATA's don't just produce taxis anymore.Read More

hi, i have bought a petrol manza, base model. it is a wonderful car. I agree there are drawbacks and power steering is a bit stiff. well, other wise, the car is very comfortable and has a good pick up. Just yesterday, 4 colleauges with a driver drove 280 kms (out of which 70% was on hills) with e...ase. the music systemn is very good and does not jarr even at top volume. The voice clarity and music reproduction is good too. You could read more in my review in mouthshut. com.Read More

dear vijay, i have driven ikon for long distances. Now I own Manza. Ikon is also a good zippy car but is not very spacious. The design is old and there are no chages in most of the features for over 5 years now. Manza is spacious, new engine, new body design, loaded with features even in the base ...model and still cheaper than ford ikon. With all this, manza can now be compared to higher end entry sedans like ford fiesta, dzire ZXi, etc. I would even compare it with fiat linea as both share same manufacturing facility and have same service facilities. However, buying whichever car is a personal choice too. take your call buddy.Read More

I picked up Manza on17th August (1st day of Chingam month of malayalam). Color- grey noir from RF motors, Kochi. I am so far satisfied with dealers who have given me a good discount and have answered all queries with ease. One of the first things you notice about the car is its sheer size. I ...Read more

hey raghu. the issues pointed by you must be taken up stongly with tata guys. why don’t you scale it up to TATA higher ups. May be they aren’t aware. I agree that Tata service is no where near sales. Tata management must realise that an unhappy customer can really make a big dent in the sales too. F...or starters, let them know that your reviews are being read carefully by many future buyers. i too am buying manza after i met someone who had done 25000 kms. The entire family was revving about the car. Apparently, there aren't many who would have clocked 25000 kms from gorakpur to hyderabad, cochin to munnar. Well, that takes care of most roads, doesn't it. D'zire is an old design but why... would maruti change it as most of us just follow the rest. And now, maruti has even downgraded the engine to 1.2 litres.. call it K-series or whatever.Read More

Absolutely agree with your views. Maruti people do not bother to call back or explain features properly. It's like they are doing a favour to the customer by selling Dzire.
