excellent review, my 2 cents
1) divx is not free for companies
2) divx requies a divx player which is not avaiable on all browsers and platforms
3) transcoding is slower and making skins for divx player is harder however with youtube and dekhona its easir, even a kg... dropout can do it and its accessible
4) why i dont like divx ? see the success of low quality youtube with flash and failure of high quality videos of stage6 (divx) with divx player
5) you have 2 mbps line but everybody in india who gets online for orkut.com has a unlimited 64kbps line which gives them 4-5 kbps down and low quality is better for them than having nothing
6) i bet you cannot afford good qality videos in india if you have that big apetite get a joost account.
7) as far as dekhona is concerned i got my videos converted instantly and youtube took 16 hours
8) i instatly get on homepage and hat gives me more visibility
9) on youtube no ones know i have videos
10) rest indian video sharing sites are more of free video sharing script and desi porn copied from debonair blog
11) VCR/VCDS are out and i dont like to carry a bloody 100 grams dvd and beg everybody for windows with powerdvd so that i can see the video that i have in 100grams dvd that i am carrying.
12) whereever i go dekhona is accessible, so why should i carry that 100grams dvd, when i can do with 4 clicks a username and password.
13) Cheers, welcome to dekhona.. All your videos belong to yourself (keep them accessible to you and your friends.. and keep those videos private for you and your girlfriend.. and you dont need to worry about mms getting leaked..)

yes it is not fair but buddy... SOFTWARE IS MORE COSTLY THAN HARDWARE, People should know this. let this be known.. it take time and money to write long lines of crappy code to create such softwares and you can use it freely without paying anything..

yes, i agree to what you both say.. but it hurts when you are paying for licence fees for windows xp and other dont pay it.. maybe if next time i buy a computer from some local vendor i can get everything (softwares) i want..
and that is truly wrong.. i read somewhere that the new windows vista... launched by microsoft took 10000 employees and more than 5 years to build it. i saw a demo of vista and its very cool. glass like interface.. it is very good.. but ultimately.. who is suffering ?? people who program, companies, and somebody like me who has paid for software and sees others enjoying and then regrets why i bought it..

i feel they surely do have a good team, they should sit down and think about solution to this, maybe if not in the UI form where users can click and report abuse but rather than make some rules which are for the benefit of the people, and take actions accordingly..
I think they should just give ...us a Flag like report this review and when users click on it, their admin will immediately look and see if the review is abusive or not relevant and take necessary actions.. if not reply to your suggession as its not abusive etc.. in a polite manner.. what say guys ?

Well its good you write what you think, i love that... its just fine to jot your points but getting badwords is not good. well everything else is just fine..

yes 2000 limit should go to a little more..
actually i have just seen some obscene reviews being deleted so that was why i take ms's side.. but maybe it might have happened to you.. and i think companies do something to not to harm their reputation.. but well MS should think about it..
Multi...ple ID really sucks but we also cant stay with out it... and if multiple id stop there will be no spam.. and thats kinda offtopic to discuss here :)

I think this is it! An awful review with cool suggestions but i would like to point out a few issues, its my own personal views if no one agrees i dont care..
'Irrational reviews should be deleted instead, reviews are being deleted irrationally' -- I have seen mostly all the irrelevant content a...nd crap getting snapped.
'Multiple ID guys create most of the trouble' -- yes cant help his mutliple ID frauds, infact even you i are included in the Cyber Space globally in multiple ID bearers list, I have 10 yahoo 6 gmail 2 hotmail accts now how can you give only 1 id to one user, this is not PASSPORT that you can validate, infact even passport is faked and when you get online you cannot be sure of things like this.. but this issue is with mail providers, M- ID fraud exist bcoz they r giving multiple Ids to 1 person, they should stop this
'I interpret : I am a dummy ' -- I agree, Come on Cheer, this is CyberSpace which is moving so fast that we cannot imagine, this is Web 2.0 its all about User Interface, make it easy to use and give all sorts of power to the user that you can, you know 'Google' ?
'Report abuse & Report plagiarism '
These two buttons can be very useful i agree but what about the drawbacks a lot of people like to poke around they create multiple IDs and report a revew as Abuse and it will get deleted, infact after something like this gets implemented on this platform, the Abuse from Multiple IDs will increase so much that we guys wont be able to bear it.
'Nominate for contest' -- I would love this Feature.. it would be great but i just worry people will create multiple ids and nominate their own review. just because mail providers are giving them multiple IDs..
