Some yrs ago ( school days):
It is 5 PM(IST). I come home. Run to change. Hit the kitchen. Give an update of school to mommy dear. Grab a plate of snack. With all ease, sit on the lounge chair(like a queen..) and enjoy the food, browsing through the channels to quickly log onto CARTOON NETWORK.com...... coz, folks!!! it's time to be tuned onto DEXTER'S LABORATORYYYYYYYY..........

Mama, why is Dexter short? How did he fetch money for his secret lab? how is he so brilliant? why is he a geek? How come his sis Dee-dee has more common sense than Dex, though she is dumb? Is Dex a Nerd Bomber?? Is he a Geek Burger? Liar, who tries to hide his lab from his parents?
ANS :: A masculine-short-quick learner-European accent holder-experimental-considers himself superior to the Hamo sapiens- tries to keep his sis(Dee dee) out of his lab- emotional sometimes-a world Saviour- one who has acquainted with the Outer space, outwitting NASA.Dexter is pretty much devoid of friends but he isn't really bothered by it. As long as he can work in his lab, Dexter lives on.
Ehem... quite phenomenal!!!But, is his IQ is enough to rival his role model, Albert Einstein?

Err.... Error!!!!!!
Hmm.. I like her accent that goes like, "OOOOOHHHH WATS ZZATTT" and her long hands accessing a switch in Dex's lab scaring the s**t out of Dex :)... Sometimes, this blue-eyed blond suddenly interrupts screaming her voice out .. "DEXTERRRRRRRR".... one of those typical teenage-plastic-doll... like, Kareena Kapoor in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham... DUMB,DUMB,DUMB... :)) I must say, she is not as bad as it sounds!! She has managed to fight with the Martians and get her bro out of danger... she is also amiable with the primitives (whom Dexter managed to bring into the 21st century through one of his scientific innovations) and understands their lingo, making things easier to Dex !!!
Dee Dee lives in her own little world complete with unicorns, imaginary dragons, and talking ponies. Her room is a pink nightmare of stuffed animals and dolls that Dexter must avoid at all costs. So naturally, no one really takes her seriously. She is a dancer and a singer but insists on practicing in the lab and wrecking the place in the process. She also has some athletic skill in most sports(after her dad). But behind it all, Dee Dee is actually a very caring sister who does truly love her little brother
Or is she making things tougher ?? Dee-Dee.. you are quite sound and neat in your own pink ways :)) A COMPLETE JUVENILE PERSONA!!
A briefing of the other characters :Mom ( one lively house wife who just wants to put things under control). Dad ( Sporty + lost many cars + happy go lucky) + mandark (Dex's arch enemy and rival genius who is constantly trying to take over his lab, making Dexter's life anything but easy)..

It was quite a catchy tune and whenever this serial started, it was my first responsibility to hum this tune along with the song(Some strange kinda kiddish sense of achievement, you can say ) :

But Dee Dee blows his experiments to smithereeeennnsss.. there is doom and gloom while things go booooom... in Dexter's Laaaaaaab...
Ab ovo, what is it that caught my brimming attention?
Kids notice every other cartoon.. but why did my mind stick to this cartoon?? Now, I can realize it... after I aged into a girl who still loves watching Dex. The reasons are quite clear. I also have a naughty younger bro and I loved the way they fought which gave some kinda solace that we are not the only fighter-bro-sis-pair in this world. Creme de la creme', I love the family bonding b/e bro-sis as shown in the cartoon that led my love flee all over my bro :)) Reason : This was the only cartoon which me and my bro simultaneously agreed watch without changing channels :))
his arch enemy and rival genius Mandark constantly tiring to take over his lab, Dexter's life is anything but easy.
Also - Dex's amazing vocabulary + virtual ridicules + dialogs against Dee Dee + some funny irky phrases + the noise made while the shoe tracks along the ground + the happy go lucky nature of Dee Dee et al... many more many more...
