Thats a great news Dflory, if indian army is removing this gate system then it will be a great help for Garhwal tourisom, along with poor peoples residing in Chakrata, becasue then more oportunities related to tourism will get generate. Regards MJ

Hi Ips, Good to see you after a long time. Well you are right, these all insurance comapnies try to suck our money as much as they can. In india, situation is worst rather then other countries. well sandeep u r right 2400 kms is a long distance to cover.. but yeah if u r riding with couple of freinds then that doesnt effect much.. !! well regarding info on khardung la, u at least require 10 days.. depends on ur biking skills and ur capability to ride. mostly people keep 2 - 3 days in buffe...r for there easyness. well for maps u can visit mapsofindia.com where u can get the maximum knowledge about the route. if u r staying in delhi, then before planing any scedules u must visit karol bagh 'any bullet accessories shop' or 'johns' at india gate in front of rajasthan tourism bhavan for more info.. or u can call mail me on mukeshjarial@usa.com for furhter infor. regards MJRead More

Thanks for reading my review and for the compliment too. Yeah sure, you will definately make it to chakrata. And just remember my one suggestion when ever u visit chakrata in future. Just keep an hour or two for ur self (alone) and sit, relax under any of the deodar tree, and then only u will be abl...e to feel that unique spiritual power of god, for which chakrata is known about 'Dev-Bhumi' Regards and best wishes.
