I am planning to buy this car for my family. have few questions: 1> How is the pick up with full load of passengers and AC on 2> Level of body roll during tight turns 3> Milage in city and highway 4> Ease of getting into and out of last row seats

Please elaborate on your feedback. What issues you faced? Why you had to send it to workshop? What safety features its missing (shows incomplete reserch before buying)? Why you didnot take a test drive to determine noise levels before buying the vehcile? And most importantly what is the cause of dis...gusting noise from engine? CR4 engine which is fitted to evnture is pretty refined and low on vibration (I have indigo with CR4). Please write detailed review to be of any help to readers.Read More

Ooh come on charlie.. I have still not completed 30k so cannot comment much about that. But i have seen indica's going strong even after 180k on meter and drivers (cab wallahs) still happy with it. Also, specifying the issue which you faced and possible solutions here will help mouthshut readers. We... all know Maruti's have better service but that comes at a price. The whole question boils down to usability, ease of ownership and affordibility of options that we have. Best part with Indigo cs is that there are not many products which cater to same segment and that's why though its not aperfect car.. U got to live with it :) Read More

Cool review... I have usually found Maruti owners rave about their swifts and ritzs and not appreciate quality of Fiat. Though i have a tata i wish to buy a punto some day. and this is based on my experience of reversing a punto for 2 meters. Guess what that is enough for you to fall in love with th...is car.Read More

Completely agree with sudhirss on speeds vs gear table. Any car with turbocharger will have good pulling power only after 1800 rpm.

Hi ’’thegreatone’’ here are your answers: 1) Pickup and drivability is good. I remember one instance when i had to hurry back to office and was driving like crazy. One swift VDI guy took offence and started racing. My ecs gave it a fitting chase, and nowhere did i feel that the car was lagging be...hind because of pick up. I am slowly developing a love for this CR4 engine. 2) Noise levels have come drown drastically after 10k kms. Now its very quite and throttle response is amazing. I cannot give you a comparison with DDIS as i have not driven one till now. U know these maruti wallas they treat their car like a glass vase ;) But i have heard them idealing and revving up. trust me its no better than CR4. My guess is the feel would be marginally better only when u r inside cabin. Porblem with continuous driving i have not shared with service personnel but my neighbour who has a diesel elantra said its quite usual and he has faced it as well.Hope this helps.Read More

surprised... Tata service is not great but is not bad either. I strongly suggest you to check if consumer courts can be of help here. Prima facie looks like ur car is either defective or there is some improper driving. Either ways... its teh service people who need to suggest the exact cause. Esclat...e it to highest level possible.. tata is trying hard to do a makeover of its image as a seller of taxies.. i am sure ur grivance will be redressed.Read More

Got a mail from Abhinav seeking some clarifications and he seemed confused between Manza and Indigo CS. Actually there is no comparison as manza is a far superior vehcile and belongs to a differnet class altogether. Why i went for elx is becoz of pricing and relatively compact nature of this car. ma...nza is big and i was not too keen on driving such a big car being a new driver. If ur budget is upto 7.5lks you can go for diesel manza. Petrol manza u can get for about 6.5. My overall budget was 5.5 - 6.0 and so the decision. But even with indigo cs price to feature comparison will not let u down. So go ahead and buy it Abhinav :)Read More

Bajaj Discover DTSi gives a mileage of 65-70 km/liter in city conditions. --> this is debatable. I have used Bajaj discover 124 ES for 2 years.. never got a milage of more than 55 kms a ltr.
