Hi, I went to test ride inazuma about 2.5 months back and took a test ride, the seating ergonomics were not comfortable in my view, tend to slide down towards the tank and end up sitting on the narrow region of the seat, which was uncomfortable to me. When I finished riding I saw the suzuki... GS150R which looked proper in all aspects, I asked for a test ride, after the ride I found the bike quite awesome, great build quality, excellent seating ergonomics, very smooth engine and stable, etc...I took another test ride from another dealer and finally knew it was my bike, I bought the gs150r around 2 months ago and been riding it every day to office....I hardly use my ritz diesel car and bullet any more....I am selling my 8 yr old bullet std cast iron engine coming week end for 95k......the GS150R seems to be a masterpiece...I reached 120 kms/hr and not much vibrations really....I am yet to test it for long distance riding still.....plan to do it some time....the second service is due. Regarding the inazuma I just got to know yday that the prices have droped by 1 lakh Rs. So the on-road price shoudl be around 2.5 lakhs now...the inazuma is great in my view, it has come through CKD route, with made in china parts, excellent build quality, typical of suzuki, the bike is really state of the art too, and super smooth engine....but the seating ergonomics is an issue to me....can this seating be rectified by some local bike seat shops? not sure about that..... I was searching for a bike for more than 1 year, till I found the GS150R, I have tried, RE bullet 500, ktm 390, cbr 250, honda unicorn, yamaha fazer, etc.... Read More

Hi, I own a bullet classic 350 too for 8 years, it has run around 30000 kms. The bike started giving problems after running 20000 kms....The power is poor too(18 bhp) I need to change my bike badly but nothing satisfying me even if I shell out 4 lac Rs. Tried KTM 390, felt too flimsy and unde...r built, the honda cbr250 is much better, but still not good enough build quality. I am just waiting for honda cbr 500 which I am hoping will have good build quality at 194 kgs weight. Another bike I am waiting for is the KTM 390 adventure. The adventure tourer bikes are expected to be sturdy. The suzuki inazuma is probably sturdy, but it is too expensive and under powered for the price we pay. I am fed up with this hype of royal enfield, I don't understand why it became so successful, even the new bikes are very troublesome to own I am reading.Read More

Hi, I am aware that the best car around in India now is probably fiat punto, which will put even cars 3 times its price to shame in the ride and handling category. How ever I have a question for you. I own a ritz diesel, enfield bullet std 350 cc, and previously in my house we owned ...maruti 800, and hero honda 100 cc. I have noticed in all our vehicles, they need to be tuned, every now and then. Meaning the nuts and bolts have to be tightened to make the vehicle nice for ridiing and driving. In my ritz, I need to do it every 2000 to 2500 kms. Get it tuned by mandovi, so that the suspensions are smooth and the body does not rattle. I would like to know how often do you need to do this for the punto. I am assuming because of Punto's sturdy build quality, the body needs to be tuned and tightened probably once in 5000 kms. do let me know your experience in this aspect with the Punto.Read More

Hi, I own a Ritz Diesel and the car is very good. My car has run 36K kms. One issue is it looses its allignment every 2000 to 3000 kms and i have to get it fixed. Other than that it is good. How ever I have driven many cars in India for test drive. I have driven Punto atleast 1...0 times including, petrol 1.2, 75 bhp diesel, 90 hp diesel. I must admit all the other cars are not as good as Punto for the drive, ride, and handling. Truly a benchmark as you say! I plan to buy the next variant of Punto, Evo when it gets launched in India. A few other cars I found very good were, Skoda Rapid Diesel & Figo Diesel. All the other cars, including my Ritz are far behind Punto in my opinion Read More

Appreciate your review. I have been with Infy for 2 years now and I couldn't agree more with you. Your comparison with East India company is good too, during those days the British did it but now Infy is dominated by southern brahmins and mallus!

Appreciate you detailed review, I have test driven more than 20 cars sedan, hatch, SUV, etc. Fiat Punto has the best ride and handling of everthing I have driven. Build, sturdiness and refinement is great too. I own a ritz diesel for the last 3 years, though it is very good, it is no mat...ch to the Punto Sport, I am planning to purchase punto sport in the next year or two, hopefully it is still available. The following link says "The handling is in fact so good, it can put cars almost thrice its price to shame. ", I agree with this. http://www.motorbeam.com/cars/fiat-grande-punto/fiat-grande-punto-90hp-sport-review/ Read More

Hi, (lewisavinash) thanks for your reply. From what I have been reading, regarding Swift new model and old that the fit and finish is not upto the mark and it gives niggling problems once it gets around 30000 kms. My ritz has run around 25000 kms now and it has not given me a single pro...blem, except for wheel allignment issues. Usually vehicles start giving niggling problems after 20000 kms running, I have observed. I have owned, Maruthi 800, Hero Honda splendour, and bullet 350, and they have all started giving problems after 20000 kms. I have learnt always go for the latest generation vehicle not the older generation vehicles which may be lacking in refinement. I think the latest generation vehicles of Maruti are just A-Star and Ritz. Lakshman M PRead More

I test drove the mid diesel variant, the one for 10.9 lakhs, the vehicle is very good, though it has no ABS. I rather buy this vehicle than any other sedan or hatch with ABS. Unfortunately I am hearing bad things regarding the sales from other reviewers, even in Bangalore, so it must b...e horrible in smaller towns and cities. It is sad that Renault is not living up to the class of this vehicle Duster in Sales, and after sales services. Lakshman M PRead More

Hi! my bike has been giving a lot of niggling problems since it completed 21-22k kms. It needs continuous refinement by a good mechanic. Gradually loosing interest in the bike with my maruti ritz performing very well for me.
