i wouldnt advice you on buying one coz the kind of mileage i am getting is really pathetic and the service guys have no clue. 5-6-7kmpl is not what is expected. diesel may be better, but the top end comes at 9L which is way too expensive and opens up corridor to other better cars in this range (r...ead: honda city) the AC is problematic. low powered, doesnt cool effectively when the temperature goes beyond 40. i would not advice if you are looking for any of the two things: AC and mileage. and i am not getting mud flaps in noida sector 16 - shops say its not yet out in market. and showroom guys says the stock is still not in!!!!!! the car is over 4-5 months old now in the market.Read More

@mhareesh: sorry for the confusion, by servicing i meant the checkup of the car for its problems, not the regular service. the mileage i took was by getting tank full, use and re-full, the age old. @debamrit1996: i have logged 900kms so far. the service guys & customer service is pathetic. they a...re so laid back and uninitiated. @vu3mmg: this is a petrol car @vkshameer: you may call up rama motors, okhla, delhi and just say u r calling for the linea with problem with AC and mileage from noida and they will know (you wouldnt even need to give ur regn number!!) @omar1310: even all this is a shocker for me. to quote one of the tata guys in service center: 'sir this car will not give good cooling, if you want to get cooling from this car, drive on highway or drive in city where there is less traffic!!'. @benguela: thanks for the help. i got a mail from some M. Kodalkar and not M. Kopalkar. let me know if they are the same guys or different, in case you know. @sbsuresh: i dont know how can u guys settle for sub-standard things. why do u think 7.75L is less price to deserve a good finished product. the review is genuine. one general reply: the car has been to the service center 4 times in 25 days now for the problems but not getting resolved still. @ slayer09: the car is petrol. @ thinkuse: thanks for the tip, i will surely do that @ caromania: by servicing, i meant checkup for the problems not normal ser...vice. sorry for the confusion. & thanks for the tip, will search for a-one address @neeraj_l: ya i agree with you on the space part. but all other things are genuinely problematic. my dealer is rama motors, okhla, delhi. i have written a complaint on fiat site already. this AC has problems and the dealership agrees with it. the mileage is a shocker for me as well. the dealership says, anything under 10 in city is problem, so you may want to get your car checked as well, no pun intended. i agree with pkbh2007. i am also driving line top model fully loaded and have been consistently getting mileage of under 7, sometimes as low as 4kmpl. in my case, the dealer is NOT agreeing to this and says the test drive of the vehicle is giving them 10. the AC does not work properly.. even logan ...fares better. either, the car is fitted with low powered AC and engine whatever, giving it just POOR performance. There are not many people willing to come out in the open to acknowledge its problems i dont know why. My dealer is Rama Motors, Okhla, delhi - one of the guys who came with me for a test drive of vehicle to check AC problem says & I quote ’’sir fiat car is like this only. the AC will only work on highways and if you want it work in city, drive only where there is no traffic’’!!!! Such apathy!! There is this regional manager from tata who is now discussing the issue with me & what they are trying to prove is that i dont know how to drive a vehicle & that i am expecting too much from an AC in summers !!!!! My God, what world we are living in! I have written complaints to Fiat couple of times but have not heard from any of them. Guess, they dont care about indian market and consumers.Read More

I own a linea top model fully loaded version. lot of problems: 1. air conditioner does not work effectively, you feel like sitting in front of a cooler not an AC 2. the mileage is 5-8kmpl. i have decent driving skills. i drive an maruti esteem as well as get 14kmpl out of that. 3. finishing of... the car is not good - you will find many loose ends, especially in the bonnet 4. service centre is pathetic. just visit them once and see for yourself - no one to attend to the customer. no delivery on time (it takes 2 days for them to service, you give the car today and get it tomorrow!!) best part is, my car is only 20days old and these are the set of problems i face... imaging the older ones :) btw, you can test drive one vehicle which is old and you will notice the gear box is not smooth at all.
