I was a regular visitor of this place. This is not a place to eat if you can't live without Fan (forget A/C) in a hot, humid evening. Sweating from top to bottom and eating the Shawarma, if this is fine for you, then you can visit this place. Regarding the Shawarma, no doubt it is extremely tasty

The perspective with which you watch a movie is the key factor. Commercial success doesn’t matter; at least the movie should stand as per its genre. If I would have gone to watch this movie in a film festival, or if it was screened in my College, my perspective would have been totally differen...t. Anyway, enough of it. First of all I thank all people who commented on my review. And now there are some clarifications from my side. Neither my grammar is bad, nor I am the typical Indian who enjoy Kaanta langa and all that shit. That was my honest review written in haste, just coming back after watching the night show.... And did I ever compare Swades with Veer-Zaara? I just felt that Swades is not at all that entertaining as Veer-Zaara. The thing here is entertainment, not enlightenment, nor education. A movie can be equally entertaining and educating, but this was neither. And at least not for me. I did compare it as per the ‘CONCEPT’ of SRK because he was in it and he does have a concept. Although, SRK is not the prime concern here since the movie was made by Ashutosh. But from the maker of Laagan, I never expected this kind of movie. And I bet that not a single reviewer could deny this fact. Everyone was having a bigger expectation from Swades(even without SRK) after the huge success of Lagaan. And what kind of education and enlightenment are we talking about? Means you watch movies for getting enlightened and educated. That’s cool. You enter the hall to get entertained and come out educated. WOW! Sorry, I am not of your kind and never want to be. You are just hypocrites. Will these kind of movies would change the whole situation of movie making in India or India itself (in any possible way)? Or coolshader, will you stop watching entertaining movies? No and never. And what should be appreciated? Where is the good work? When the movie as a whole is not worth to watch, the insiders never matter. Even in yesterday’s HT City(Delhi) 26th Dec, Page 8, there is a big articles on the failure of Swades. You have to admit, when one goes to watch a movie in hall, he goes there for entertainment (the main perspective with which he watches the movie is entertainment).
