Almost a month, since I made this review and let me tell you that, in the past one month, no technicians has attended the machine and the issue remains unsolved. You may notice that there is corporate response for this review, and their Brand Manager, Siddhartha Singh did contact and told me that he... did shared my details with his service team. I agree. It seems Eureka Forbes is shifting their focus from Customer centric company to something else..may be higher profit oriented company ? I am still awaiting their resolution on a issue raised five months back..reminded thrice and no resolution yet :(

Jannud, the very fun is the issue is not yet resolved :D We get connections for 20 hours out of 24. Planning to switch to Reliance as alternate ISP if the issues continues like this :(

Yeah body is solid. But 3 times motherboard and 2 times hard disk replacement for a laptop means, the laptop I got was a bad make. I am also in the service industry and if my customers face such an issue, I would have replaced the laptop itself. I pity their management. I guess their executives are paid less and that is the reason. You made the mistake by paying 6 months in advance, just as mine. They are pirates. I guess DSL providers are the best as of now. Time of Cable ISPs has come to end.

Don't trust their sales persons. I lost 3K just because of trusting their sales person in Bangalore. They took back the modem promising the refund, by November when the actual termination of contract is due only on jan 2007. If you plan to proceed with customer court or TRAI, let me know as well. Thanks Arks, I really appreciate it. I did think of that options, but refrained from it, thinking of two things 1) Time 2) Legal charges. Wont that grow beyond the refund amount ? Stop!!! Don't go for Hathway ISP, atleast in Bangalore. Choose Airtel or BSNL (if telephone exchange in a limit of 4KMs).
