Hi, I'm Ahmed from Alwarthirunagar, Chennai. Since there is no proper broadband service like Airtel in my street. I go for Hathway ( a new ISP in my area). I called on 14/12/2006. After my call, immediately the sales person Mr.Anand contacted me and told the scheme. I asked the 512kbps plan, for that their charge is Rs.1684 for 3 month including service tax. He asked me the amount immediately to give line. So he came and collected money at 11PM midnight. What a service!!!
The next day Line man came and install the cable evening. I thought the service might be good, how fast they are working. But there was no modem installation then. After several call, a technician named Mr.Iyyasamy came after a week and installed modem. My plan is 512kbps but the speed given was 40-60kbps. He compromised me that it would be rectified the next day. But I boldly said to remove the modem and rectifiy the speed, then only I would sign in their service note.
Now more than 2 weeks ago, still now nobody came for service or install. I made serveral calls. Simply the people saying that he would come evening for installation. But nobody came. I sent mail to Hathway. No response.
VERY WORST SERVICE, HATHWAY IS.
If they fail to install, THEY MUST RETURN MY AMOUNTor I WILL FILE CASE IN CONSUMER COURT AGAINST HATHWAY
