i am sorry about the ratings but i strongly feel that this review is 'inspired' - only a few minutes back i read the review of this movie on rediff and your review definitely looks very similar.
i dont think you would like to see someone copying your review and passing it off as... theirs. think!!

hi Nithya,
this is a very well written review. i like the parallel you have drawn between Kipling's If and Roark.. as i read that bit in the review my eyes glanced through the lines of the poem stuck on my white board and as i was reading the lines, glimpses from the book raced through my head...... very good.
also... Gail Waynand is missing in your analysis. i wonder why you couldnt draw a charecter sketch on him. yes, missing out Dominique Francon is understandable, but Gail... no, Gail can be described well, i thought.
lastly... you didnt give an example for the 'The world is sometimes too happy to celebrate the fall of a hero' bit... Probably in the present circumstances Saurav Ganguly would fit the bill very well. :))

Hi Khushi,
i am telling you. This review you have written on the Class is very good and well presented.
This is my all time favorite. It is one of the most intense works of fiction and i rate it in many ways as the best work by Erich Segal.

good review.
I generally have am partial to fans of Doglas Adams and PG Wodehouse. But by dropping that slight towards the master, you have neutralised the effect. Smiles.
I am sure your review will enthuse the un-initiated into the marvalous world of Ford Prefect, Arthur Dent, Zaphod, Marvin et... al - specially the science student chappies.

decent first review, this. Only, try to format your review and run it through a spell checker to make it look better.
Incidentally, this book is my current read.
Another point. if you come across another Christie book with the title 'Funerals are fatal', do ...not buy it. it is the American title of the same book.

as i drew towards the end of the review, i unconsiously shook my head and heard myself saying 'beautiful review'. i do hope you are aware of what a wonderful review you have written. as far as my memory goes, i think this is one of the finest reviews on a Wodehouse book i have read i...n a long time. i might be sounding repititive, but i really do hope that you know the magnitude of your achievement.
i liked your style of writing. in fact there are many aspects of this review that deserve a lot of appriciation.

Smiles... i would call this a very bold review.
A few things here. the big fish is not a dolphin. i presently do not re-collect the brand of the fish but it is not a dolphin. You are right when you say that Hemmingway was given the Nobel Prize for his contributions to litra...ture, but the reason why many people mention this book in conjunct with the Nobel Prize is that this particular book was cited when he was given the prize.
Oh yes, even if you would not make an impression with the neighbourhood chick or her brother, you would definitely be introducing the blighter to good literature.
Also, I would have liked to have read a few more thoughts of yours on the book.

so this is your story, eh? everyone has one and most of them would have, i think, begun their journey at google searching for reviews of some products. With you it was Saaya, with me, if you would want to know, it was motorcycles. So, that is it. I think i would not be able to write an 800 word revi...ew on this. I hope to do it some day. :)

long time since i came around here.
Did you know? this is a remake of a tamil/telugu movie made a couple of years ago. Of course a lot of glamour is added to the entire show but yes, the comedy holds on very well till the end. As you pointed out the movie is a laugh riot; i laughed until my jaws... ached and more.
I thought the fine Boman Irani was wasted in the movie.
In fact i think the scene where Bipasha spots the coakroach was the tensest scene in the movie... the viewer has a sense of impending doom and waits inevitably for the doom to come.
Right ho!!
