hated seeing Kal Ho Na Ho in the list-common tat movie sux big time .... Sadma's climax is unique in the history of Indian Cinema n is so tears-stuck-in-the-throat type of scene... ur revus r as usual-smashing :) -Chimera

wonderful... wonderful u did great justice to a lovely book - yes this book is one of my all time favorites -never a dull moment do u find in it. n Uncle Podger has become a famous adage to whoever takes all the help possible from others to do work :)) keep writing... -Chimera

Bill Cosby is one of the few ppl in contemporary times who can make u laugh without resorting to profanity.... tat was a very good revu - I havent read any of his works but sounds like a fun book to read. I do not know of a single Indian writer who is really laugh-out-loud funny... R.K.N...arayan n Ruskin Bond have a subtle sense of humour and Kushwant Singh's humour is a very different league from the Wodehousian school. -Chimera Read More

Hi Jai havent heard of that book of Amrita Pritam - after watching Pinjar i feel shez one woman who writes beautifully @pri havent read those authors mentioned, i dun seem to njoy detective buks by other writers @Rohit thanx rohit, try to read any of the AC books if not the... autobiography @Mayank but the way she portrays herself as a very down-to-earth person is amazing.. @Khushi do read more of ACs- they wudnt disappoint u one bit. @Sonika yes her biography is filled with the merry ole woman who was Agatha Christie. @Aditya instead i wud say pick up any of her mysteries,u wud njoy them better @Nandu a lawyer inspired by her??? i din think that it wud help them also... (PS: din find any other foto...) @Arvind yup the very same Mountbatten I guess(though she hasnt mentioned which one) n i did not quote them 'coz the denouement of the book is at stake. @Munir np, itz better late than never u can start with 'The Murder on the Orient Express' -ChimeraRead More

'am sorry to say that some of the incidents u have mentioned havent bin mentioned in her autobiography especially the case of the missing writer ,there were no mention of it watsoever as also some of the books that u have mentioned. It just seems like a write-up about the writer and not abou...t her autobiography. -ChimeraRead More

As a general rule I do not read autobiographies but as an exception I couldn?t help picking up a hardbound copy of the story of Agatha Christie (hereafter referred to as AC) as recounted in her own words. I only wish that J.K.Rowling had written when I was in school because I feel thatz the right time to go to the lengths of reading all those trivia n other paraphernalia accompanying Potter buks (for now I make do with jus the main series) what with so many books to catch up on these wud b at ...the bottom of the list, hey n if I forgot to mention, brilliantly worded revu . -ChimeraRead More
