I am unable to understand why they would want to deny information about hotels when you offered to pay from your own pocket? Oh, maybe they weren't being given commissions... ;-)

This is one of the most horrible situation people can ever be in, esp. when travelling with a family. Though, I would urge that people also verify their tickets/boarding passes thoroughly so that such problems are detected and avoided early in the journey (we all know that there are many such dumb, ...idiotic and brain-dead people in the airline industry), yet, this kind of behaviour is unacceptable. Period. Are there nothing like consumer forums around to sue those buggers? The in-flight camera would have caught all this on tape. Anyway, I was just looking at my next flight options and since I never heard of this airlines, was checking out the reviews. Now, I know one more airline that I _should_not_ fly. Thanks for sharing your experience.Read More

Well, they don't seem to have regular non-corporate package prices in the site (or atleast I did not find them). But, I would want to give this a try. Good review here. :-)

Not meaning to be rude in anyway, I was actually laughing when I was reading the T&C points you mentioned. But on a serious note, they are here to do business and not make losses tying up with expensive saloons. It was rather immature on your part to have thought they will pamper you with a good sal...oon treatment at a store convenient to you. Last, but not least, this (not revealing the T&C to the customer before buying the product and also adding new T&Cs not expressly written) amounts to deficiency of service and you can drag them to the consumer court, if you can spare the time and effort. But from your report, you seem to be a busy woman with little time to spare for these things. But it would surely set the records straight with the funny marketing folks at companies like Olay who take you people for a ride at every available opportunity. Anyway, what about the cream itself? Is it good? I was actually looking for its review to get one for my wife and landed up here. Have fun, have a great day.Read More

Dear friend, This was precisely the same issue that I faced a few days ago. I renewed my policy one month prior to its expiry online (the biggest mistake ever) and havent heard from them till one month after its expiry. During this time I got a LOT of calls from their agents asking me to renew it ...and I used to reply to them that I did renew it. After NUMEROUS (atleast 25) phone calls and (atleast 20) online chats and (atleast 10) emails, I was fed up and decided to visit their office in Punjagutta, Hyderabad. When I visited their office, after much fuss and arguments, I met a lady who listened to the problem completely and took all the relevant details (like my bank account from which was debited, the transaction numbers etc) and after a two hour hunt finally pinned down the transaction. Then, she explained to me that their system was at fault and that the online transaction (which is handled by one server-system did not update the policy-handling-server-system with the details) and so the policy system software still shows the status as expired (my old policy). Finally, after some more time I got the new policy. So, for your case, I suggest you walk up to your nearest lombard office and get hold of an officer to look into the issue. If they assure you that they will look into the matter and ask you to come later, be firm and adamant that you are willing to wait for what ever time it takes to get this done. ONly then will they start working on the issue. Also, I advice you to go in the morning itself and be prepared to spend some time there (worst case would be 3 hours). Also, be equipped with details related to the transaction like the bank statement showing the same and the bank transaction number, date, time etc. (and ofcourse your policy number). After receiving your (new) policy, make sure it is correct in all aspects (verify the name, engine number and chassis number, vehicle number and policy start and end dates) and make sure it is what you wanRead More

Absorb the shock my friend. I cannot agree more about customer care, atleast in India. They are nothing more than a bunch of people (CC folks, no offence meant) who are programmed to repeat the closest matching instruction / answer to anything the customer blurbs (pleads). More than 75% of them do n...ot know anything beyond the obvious and visible parts of a gadget. Infact, the so called call center people recruit the frontline people (who actually deal with customers) from not so brilliant backgrounds (I have personally witnessed Dell guys rejecting many because they are from engineering background). What can you expect from them? Added to this, they do not have the slightest idea of what goes in the background. Coming to the legal fine print, these companies pay a kings ransom to the elite gang (a.k.a attorneys) to prepare documents in such a way that when you are in real need of its protection, you are delivered the blow of your life right in your face. And ofcourse, the AD-firms are paid a queen's ransom to make a common man believe that there is nothing more pleasurable than milking a bull. And last, but not least, there is a _whole_ community behind you, voicing similar complaints into thin air. Hope you have better experiences in future. Finally, I think you have posted your review in a wrong section (this is meant for E61i and yours is an E61). I am planning for an E61i myself and so was here. I recently got a Nokia Prism 7500, but one month with it and I already wrote a review abt my agony with it. Also check out my review on Reliance stores who dont even care the consumer law. I have almost stopped visiting Reliance Fresh. They did not even respond to the query on this by CORE (govt. site that you can try before approaching the consumer forum). The complaint is at: http://72.18.205.154:8080/complaintsDetail.jsp?complainId=2633 Cheers, Harsha.

Hi Sandeep, Thanks for your comment. I have indeed posted a picture of the bill but somehow it is not appearing in the photos section of this review (you can see a blank space in the photos that shows the poster as me). I am talking to Jasmine about this and will get it there ASAP. For those... confused about where the picture is, click on the picture (Reliance Fresh) next to my review and a new page will come up with a link 'View More Pictures' below the pic. Click on that link and it will open all the pictures posted for this commodity. Regards, Harsha.Read More

Hi, The review is very good, but I cannot help disagree with one point of yours. Or, maybe the rules changed later, but they do not accept cards for anything worth less than 150 or 200 Rs. Apart from this, I also noticed a few of their unfair practices (you can read them in my review) which bot...her me. Anyways, have a great time. Regards, Harsha.Read More

Hello Avinash, Please wait till Monday and I'll upload them in this very site (if possible, or else I'll provide link to where-ever I upload them). Concerning getting back Rs.7/- from ReFr, I am not even hoping in my dreams that they will have that courtesy nor will they be bothered about a drop... in their ocean of customers. Regarding registering a complaint, I did register a complaint with CORE (Customer Online Resource and Empowerment) hosted by NIC (National Informatics Center, Govt. of India), who have partnered with some major vendors (or vice-versa) to solve disputes before a customer approaches the consumer court. Finally, my intention in writing this review was to alert other people visiting these stores from being cheated black and blue. Regards, Harsha.Read More
