I would like to share my experience with  Whirlpool Washing Machine. I was unfortunate to have bought a whirlpool washing machine Top loading-6.8kg-wine red-.model no: W M 123680 H . Initially when I started the machine, it made a frightening amount of noise-this prompted me to call the Custo...Read more

Dear Mojo03, My take here, if a car has to become a global favourite and be the largest selling model of all times in the world, it is not because of Taxi's there has to be something intrensic about it and one does not need to be Einstein to figure that out. I gather you have a hearsay view of ...the world :-), yes Corolla is known for its reliability and the fact that you need not sell your Kidneys for spares and maintainence as compared to say the Skodas and the cruzes, appeals to many sensible folks not just the fleet owners/ Taxi's. By your scale Mercs , Volkswagen, Hyundai and Ford also fall in the same category- Please correct your stats and get to read some history- you will agree that even Taxi drivers across the world are more sensible :-))Read More

Yep, that is what the user manual says!! :-) and I too believe that the lower glove compartment is cooled not the upper one.

After a 6 months of comparisons, test drives, conversations with owners and deliberation with several individuals on which car is good, I finally decided to go in for a Corolla Altis in October 2010. In this forum I would like to share my candid view with the hope that this will provide a perspe...Read more

I purchased an IFB Dish washer on 2nd November 2008, the buying was preceded by some drama and apalling level of irresponsible behaviour from the dealership. I first went to check out the dish washer at the E-Zone outlet near my house. They had a demo model made of tranparent plastic, where one ...Read more

Hi Manohar, I can understand your dissapointment and frustration after having shelled out over 1.3 million bucks for a machine which is imperfect. But as a Safari fan as well as a person with more than a common man's knowledge of automobiles, point out to you some positive aspects of a Safari, mayb...e it would make you feel better 1. Tata Motors is the only manufacturer in India who has a full fledged crash test facility; all other will talk to you about being mighty and muscular and doing multiple roles. Tata's never play on this factor, but to me this is of prime importance. A safari is tested for Frontal as well as side collusion safety, Indian's may rate this low, but I would not stake a currency value for human life and limbs. 2. This beast that you own arguably has the best front and second row riding comfort 3. It is reliable once you have sorted out the minor glitches, why else will this be the preferred vehicle of the politicians. it just means , it is reliable and is as safe as an armored car You do not find a Safari which is a taxi, at least I haven't found one; this is owned by one's who love the road and that experience called driving. For a photography enthusiast only an SLR would do, for an Indian biker an Enfield is the Nirvana , for a automobile enthusiast on a budget; a Safari is the answer for a road lover in India; where there are no roads, you can make one and nothing else will do...not a Scorpio Nah!!... so depends where your calling is, since this will decide if you made a mistake or struck a jackpot. From your experience all I shall conclude is that you hit a lemon, bad that Tata produces these too frequently, god bless and hope you feel better now :-) enjoy your drive...Read More

Hi Lazar, Thanks for your balanced and detailed review. I have been a passive fan of Safari for over a decade, the horror stories of owning one have kept me from just being an admirer, it is reviews like yours that enthuse me to be an owner. I have been studying this beast for over two years, someti...mes I believe that this is a cult vehicle like a Bullet is for a biker. Owning a safari is an experience, if you need reliability and performance look elsewhere; could you share your experience on that??Read More

I'm looking at changing my car and Scorpio is on my list, I would really appreciate it if Ronik would explain what is wrong with the car, I have test driven the Scorpio when it was launched and I Td'ed it again a few days back, truly I felt they had transformed the car. To me I believed that they ha...d taken a lot of feedback seriously. But then I would always go by an owner's experience than a TD which is a short experienceRead More

I do not think it is fair to say safety is bad, the very fact that you survived to tell the tale is in itself proof of the build. Also a thought here, usually in panic we react by instinct; are you really sure you hit the brakes or was it the clutch, because the 2 incidents you have mentioned brakes... failing , are you certain it is not due to failing to brake? Just a thought...Read More
