Finally due to slowing sales and Tata Indica Vista being a run away hit, Hyundai had no other option but to roll out the i20 a month before their scheduled launch!
First hand impression follows as test drive mules were not available . The car is definitely a good -looker and the tear drop hea...Read more

Dude,
i owned a tata Indica and the problems you faced regarding alternator belt / electricals etc..are being faced by all owners. However the mileage issue is a mystery, maybe you should get a decarbonising of the engine done as you have already crossed 50,000kms.Also ask the service technician to ...tune the car for mileage as opposed to power. Also since this is a turbo version, the less the turbo is used the better your mileage! As for what car next in this segment, i would suggest i20-petrol! Forget the swift, after driving the Indica you'll notice the lack of space and comfort Swift has, i20 is better option! Best of luck with your new car!Read More

Ldi is the base version, doesn't have power windows, cigarette lighter, day night mirror etc..
Better to buy the Ldi and spend 15k to get the above mentioned items fitted in your car, rather thank shell out 50k extra for the Vdi!

Alloy Wheels are lighter than the normal steel wheels used in cars. Other than offering better heat reduction (important during braking) and stability (alloys are harder to dent, especially if your car keeps going into potholes, leading to possible tyre wear out) they offer a very marginal increase i...n fuel efficiency in the range of 0.5-1.5% only, depending on the vehicle and load factors.Read More

Dude i own the N82, and i can finally say, SE has met its match. I hate the polished looks as in the bright sun, visibility becomes a serious problem. Also you can download an application from Nokia site called 'Internet Radio' it plays nearly 300 radio stations, superbly over your wi-fi connection.... You can also download 'Fringe' which allows you to make VOIP calls from multiple service providers such as Google Talk / Skype etc...as long you have an account with them. 'MapMyIndia.com' has maps which works with the N82 you might want to buy it if you are heading to other states. Also you can download YahooGo! and Gmail application to check you e-mail from phone itself, instead of having to go to the website everytime.Good info packed review! Enjoy!Read More

Dude,
if you have a serious dandruff problem visit a dermatologist. In most cases its due to dry scalp or
seasonal changes and even eating excessive oily food. Try taking 'Nizoral' anti-dandruff shampoo from Johnson&Johnsons, costs 100/- and instructions are on the pack. Mind you, it is never going... to completely go away, but yes, can be bought under control. Best of luck.Read More

Bindas----For 5.5 on-road, you can pick up a Indigo CS! Also if you can wait till end of this month, bookings for the Swift Sedan D'zire should open up, you might want to check the pricing on that. Check my review on the Swift Sedan where i have updated a Spy Video.Enjoy!

Dude, you are absolutely right! We too own a Honda Activa and its battery has been changed 3 times in the last 3 years! We gave it for service recently with a self-start issue, and it was returned without the problem being sorted out. The service guy told us it was a battery complaint! Honda service... in India sucks!Read More

Mathi_Maran--The Swift is reliable like every other Maruti car.But the Swift is a Hatchback, so it can't be compared per se with the Indigo CS.I think the ride quality of the Indigo is better than the Swifts, some others may feel otherwise. The old Indigo's did have minor electrical problems (altern...ator / fuse blow-ups) and window roll-up problems (can't say about the new), which may surface, but nothing to worry about. However there are few owners who unfortunately get a bad Car, once in while from the Tata's, where everything goes wrong. My advice, if you are buying this, buy it for its Practicality, (Turbo Diesel engine delivering good fuel efficiency@low price), Lower price of spares,Good comfortable seats, Large enough boots (vs the Swift) and wide spread service network and can be serviced by roadside mechanic too! Don't forget to buy the 'Additional Warranty' which roughly costs about 4500-5000/Rs, for the Indigo CS.The Diesel engine is the better of the lot (recommend the LS-CS model with HVAC and Power Steering), compared to the Indigo's Petrol engine.Best of luck!Read More

Sorry wasn't able to post variant wise features.Word limit thing makes me control the kind of info i put out! As for the windscreen size, i just feel small in the Swift for my slightly large frame, and the angled window on my (driving) side, makes me feel couped up.Thats all. My friends own the swif...t and absolutely love it! Thanks for your generous comments!Read More
