Hi Gia, I am sorry that you think that my review did not do full justice to them. However, I do not prefer to write lengthy reviews and delve into a lot of detail because I do not like reading lengthy reviews myself. Pls note however that the split has been confirmed by Jatin himself. I am not... sure what more is needed for it to be official. Cheers ! deepakRead More

I am totally with you all in this dissapointing moment. Music Directors typically have a longer career life than most other people invlved in film making. Many dont even retire - they continue to give music until they are lifted away from earth - like RD Burman and Laxmikant. Others keep churnin...g until old age - like Kalyanji. Due to this, I was expecting the Jatin-Lalit pair to spin music for many more years to come, atleast 2 more decades considering their age today which should be in the 40s. But thank you all for your appreciation of my review. Will keep writing.. regards, DeepakRead More

Nearly 50 years ago, India was enchanted by the music in Mother India followed by Mughal-E-Azam and Pakeezah. That was when Naushad ruled the charts. The baton was then passed to very capable hands of music directors like RD Burman who stirred the nation with Teesri Manzil, Padosan and Yaadon Ki...Read more

I agree entirely. In my analysis, he brought out his issue with Greg out in the media in an attempt to strengthen his position which he knows is inherently quite weak. It was like trying to camouflage the real issue at hand - which is his highly concerning performance. He knows that he has not been... delivering the goods. I pray for the day when we will see our team doing more on the field than off it. All the battles currently being fought are off the ground.Read More

He struck a century with 131 runs in his very first test innings, which happened in summer of 1996 vs England. In the next test match in that same series, he struck yet another century by scoring 136. India awoke to a new player who appeared to be the savior. Within the next 2 years, he had accu...Read more

I am very passionate about Indian cricket, and therefore do not mind pulling this on for a little more. Ganguly has been a great player and has achieved a lot. But in any sport, a player merits his current position based on current performance, not past. Both India and Ganguly do not have the luxury... of resting on his laurels for a long time - it can spell doom for Indian cricket and it already is. 1 Billion people's hopes and passion cannot be killed by a man who in 2 years has scored no century in ODI and just one in tests (a really painstaking one vs Zimbabwe). Our country has players with strong talent and determination waiting in queue because only 11 can play. Clearly, I dont think it is fair to them as well as the nation to keep this guy alive in the team. I think that the biggest question that needs to be asked today is - Can Ganguly win matches for India today ? I doubt if there's anyone who can say YES. Read More

Every person who possesses any knowledge about Indian cricket will admit that Saurav has contributed quite a bit to cause of Indian cricket. In the same breadth, it will be added that his time is up, just as every other man. There comes a time in life when you've got to hang up your boots - Kapil De...v did, Steve Waugh did and so did Greg Chappel. They did so when they realized that they were not any better than others knocking the doors of the cricket team. A person who rises above self-interest and is truly concerned about the nation's interest will quit on his own accord and will salvage a lot of pride. Clearly, Saurav does not appear to belong to that genre of cricketers.Read More

Hi, I agree with your concerns about how they operate. I have experienced the same thing. Too bad I didnt know about it before I opened the account, but I have closed it now to save me any more hastle. Further, they also required 11 days to post a deposit to my NRE account after depositing Tr...avellers Cheques in US$. My other NRE account bank makes the same deposit available for withdraw after only a day. I also saw that people working at ICICI bank's branches have no power. For every little thing, their standard position is 'Pls talk to the head office'. My reply would be 'If I cannot talk to you, I am talking to another bank altogether. I dont care about your head office' deepak Read More
