Let me clear the path for the real review by first mentioning the only positive part of the film : that it's got Salman in it. I had to forcefully extract this as the positive because the film does not give a chance to think of any other.
And now for the real meat. For the most part, the movie is void of any real substance. Every department is left wanting in search of quality - The story, screenplay, acting, direction, you name it. The characters appear to be left on the production floors to do a do-as-you-feel.
It is difficult to believe that David Dhawan has directed the film. It requires great courage to direct a film like this as one needs to get ready to welcome flak from all quarters as soon as the film has released. David Dhawan certainly cannot possess that courage today - he cannot accept a blemish on his name. If he indeed has directed this film, his bodily hormones certainly seem to be on a big roller coaster ride - humans can become unbelievably awkward and do weird things when their hormones go haywire.
Sohail Khan is a tough force in the movie. A force with which you have to fight with to be able to stand any scene in which he appears. A force that threatens to bring the movie down much before it has reached it's stipulated 3-hour end.
And there's nothing to write about the story - there appears to be none. Sushmita Sen's name during the credit titles may throw you into a freaky Main Hoon Naa mood. But before long, that freaky mood evaporates into it's gaseous state and gets replaced by your horrendous equivalent.
Last thing about the movie : Make it the last thing you want to do with your time.
