Guys and Gals this review is mainly being written to express about Jatin-lalit(JL) who have produced the best melodies for the present day and for me they are the only hope to produce melodiuos songs after RD Burman.
The disadvantageous thing is that they have been sidelined these days.

Check that link to see the movies for which Jl have given the music the list is incomplete but sufficient to prove that they have given the best music .
Nowadays the chances given to Jl are very limited beacuse of the present day dynamismm in people who want the music to be more artificial than being natural.We used to see natural music in olden days.
the music directers emerged from Jatin-Lalit are
1.ismail Darbar - he was a violinist in the JL troop, caught sanjay leela bansali while doing khamoshi
2.aadesh srivastava - He was a drum beater in the JL troop.Currently He married JL sister vijeta pandit.
Jatin-Lalit have done the music for the first films of the most famous directors now .

But inspite of these films being super hit they ignored JL who has to share some of the credits for the success of the films by giving fabulous music.
I have listened to many of the Jatin-lalit ones and after that I felt that the unfamos movies of Jatin-alit are infact having the best music than the most famous movies of JL.Infact Jl tell in the interviews that new directors give them more freedom to give good music and established directors direct them to do the music of a perticular kind.
Here is the list of Top ten songs of Jl according to Me(The rank does not matter) some of them may be unknown to some of you but still hear to them to believe what I am saying.
1. Jaanam mere Humdum - Ek phool ten kaante
This is fabulous melodios song that anybody cant get off hearing once.The song as such a beauty that your mind dances on hearing to it.
2.Tu itna pyar kar - Saazish
Western style having a guitar and drums. I feel nobody has a feel of how Jl sounds on Guitar and drums, This song is a beauty.
3.Ye vaada hai - Raju chacha
Another western one on guitar and drums which on hearing makes u feel that this is the way rock should be carried out.
4.Kuch kasmen hai jawaan - Aanken
This song starts off very nicely and takes u to a different world. Hear it to believe it.
5.O jaana na jaana - jab pyar kise se hota hai
Guys this is a song which makes u feel best on drive.such a beautiful melody irresisteble.
6.Mera chand muje aaya hai nazar - Mr.ashiq
This is a song in which the melody is not taken off even for a second.great hear to this I make sad ones feel better and happy ones feel more happier.
7.aur kya - phir bhi dil hai hindustani
This is a song in a style unique to Jatin-lalit . They have set the new styleof melody with this one hum tum title song followed after this in such a style.
8.Mujhe raat din bas - sanghursh
This is a song that is of different genere from all the above.But this song has sonu nigam to share some credits with.
9.Jaane kise - rok sako to rok lo
This song remarks a change in the style of JL .Goes on very beautifully and beautifully sung by shaan and alkayagnik.
10.ab naam mohabat hai - Ghulam
Most of u will be knowing abt the film but not abt the song because this song was not much publicised, but a must one to listen for all melody fans.
There are many songs but the ones that I have written are the ones that came into my mind immediately.Jl music is natural.The present day DJ revolution has set them a little bit off but I think they will come back, infact the adaptablity to change in a beautiful manner is one that I liked the most in Jatin-Lalit.
The another thing that I like in Jl is that they donot show difference between high budget movie and a low budget movie. Also their albums are a worth buy because atleast 60% of the album will be good and not like others who give only one good track per album but giving junk in the rest.There may be some exceptions but atlest 80% of them are a worth buy.
When asked abt piracy in one of the interviews Jl told that because the good songs ratio in the films is reducing tdday as it was 100% in the 70's people cant afford to buy an antire album for one song.I felt it as a very reasonable answer what do u people say.
The only albums of Jl that disappointed me are HUMTUM and SOCH but despite that HUTUM has a beautiful title song.
The another thing I like in Jl is that they are very less in publisizing themselvs.
