hi. Mr.sudiptadas, The Kristal is priced at around 36 k now.... It is pretty good.. I ve completed 7000 kms now, no problems with it so far...

yes, mr.ormaz it is true that kristal is gr8 at accelerating. It has a very silent and slow start but the speed really builds up as u accelerate...

The Hero Honda Pleasure is a nice scooter. But, I wud say the Pleasure scores over the Kristal only on Height terms. Otherwise, it is inferior. Btw, Bajaj has come a long way from the Spirit days. it was something new...that kept me engrossed in the film . and Chris Nolan's fast screenplay was a great asset as it converted those long dialogues into interesting scenes!!!

and mr.gopi, 1 more thing... its impossible for Bajaj to introduce the scoot at 25 k. I guess,they wud rather stop production than bringing it to such low rates!!!

btw baimuch... I correct my statement in the review! the fuel tank is located below the floorboard. The fuel loading is in the front. and well, frankly speaking, the Kinetic 4S lacks the basic power for a scooter! I ve tried it and i feel the Kristal is only... far too superior to the 4S.
As for gopionline and meena suresh, i do agree that bajaj has faled to produce a good scooter after Chetak. Their Spirit,Saffire and Wave were disasters big-time! But, this scoot is something totally different... The Hero Honda Pleasure also gives a mileage somewhere around 40-45. Considering the fact that Kristal offers moe power and better features, I guess it has the edge over Pleasure! Yes, I mentioned in my 1st comment itself that honda scoots are superior in quality. I completely agree with the fact that the Honda Activa/Dio is better than the Kristal.

Good Review. But i dis-agree with the fact that Shankar made those blunders! its a RajniKanth film! If Rajni's Larger-Than-Life image has to be protected, i guess all those ill-logics u mentioned abt should be waived off! And btw, Rajni's intro-font changed in ChandraMukhi itself!!! , its only blue ...now! I guess that was done to match the Sivaji font color!
Shriya does little other than dance and sob-sob! 0% actor...
Vivek's comedy was top-class and better than Anniyan! In this movie, Shankar has used Vivek throughout the film in every scene! In Anniyan, u see Vivek only in 1st half!!!!! the 2nd half has him rather serious!!!Read More

well, Activa has a high market share and a high price. Now, the Kristal comes at 36k which is a shade cheaper than the Pep+. The features in the Kristal are way better than the Pep+ and it offers much more power than Pep+. The Kristal cant beat Activa, but sure can give Honda a run for its money....

Bajaj has not had a great reputation in making variator gearbox scooters. Saffire, Spirit, Wave. All did little or no business! But Bajaj kept trying constantly to earn a name in the scooter market.
