So if you are a hard-core traveller and need some adrenaline-gushing locations or just one soul that needs to get away from the crowd, here?s a list for appeasing your wanderlust gene.


ZIRO, ARUNACHAL PRADESH


A lesser known offbeat place in the crest of North-East is Ziro, one of those places which is blessed with pleasant weather throughout the year. Home to Apa Tani Tribe, it is perfect destination to see rice fields and beautiful green patches. Let your camera stretch its legs for picture-perfect captivating clicks. MAWSYNRAM, MEGHALAYA

ROOPKUND?SKELETON? LAKE, UTTARAKHAND


Surrounded by its own mysteries of how more than 300 skeletons can be found at a shallow lake, this place definitely qualifies for an unusual destination. Roopkund Skeleton Lake, rightly named after discovery of human and horse remains, is a famous route for trekkers and hikers. These remains date back to 9th century AD and have number of superstitious and scientific stories validating their presence. TADOBA, MAHARASHTRA


Tadoba is one of the unexplored and unspoilt places in India, which is immensely blessed with ample of wildlife? variety of flora and fauna. The main attraction of Tadoba is its Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, one of the best kept Tiger Reserves in India, well-preserved and well-protected. DHANUSHKODI, TAMILNADU


This destination lies on the southernmost tip of Pamban Island near Rameswaram. After the cyclone in 1964, the town was completely destroyed and deemed inhabitable for resettlement. Since then it has been a ghost town; though many do not know about its pristine beaches, offering calmness and serenity and just a few kilometers away from Rameswaram.

YUKSOM, SIKKIM


Yuksom(literally means, meeting place of three learned monks) is one of the oldest places in Sikkim. It was the capital of the kingdom that ruled Sikkimese all the way in the 17th century. Yuksom is principally a Buddhist town and is home various colourful monasteries that are simply spectacular and awe-inspiring. Yuksom valley is also a starting point to several treks around the neighborhood.


Best time to Visit: All year round. Trekkers should avoid monsoon season.


BHEDAGHAT, MADHYA PRADESH


Sanctified Marble Rocks of Bhedaghat, it is THE place to-go-to and probably a must on your bucket list. Narmada River cuts through these 100-ft towers of marble rocks on either side, a boat ride through this gorge will simply create an awe-struck and?gorge?ous times ever.


Best time to Visit: November to May
