The Samsung phone scandal just doesn't seem to come to an end!

As most of you might know, Samsung recently had to go through the hassle of recalling and exchanging the galaxy note 7 devices in what might be notoriously termed as the biggest phone recall in the history of the mobile industry.

Just when Samsung's dwindling reputation was getting restored after they started providing replacement handsets, a southwest airline flight had to be evacuated after apparently one of the replaced devices started heating up and emitting smoke.

Adding injury to Samsung's woes, two US carriers decided to stop exchanging or selling the Galaxy Note 7 devices which led the company temporarily stop the production of the Galaxy note 7 devices.

"This measure includes a Samsung plant in Vietnam that is responsible for global shipments(of the handset)," an official for the company told the Yonhap agency

Samsung refrained itself from immediately commenting on the Yonhap report

While the news might come off as heart-breaking for all the Indians who were awaiting the launch the of the Samsung device, Apple iphone7, and Google's pixel will in all probability exploit the opportunity and race ahead of Samsung this festive season
