The competition is getting stiff! And the incumbents are feeling the heat more than ever. A few days ago Reliance Jio extended it's welcome offer by 3 months until 31st march. On similar lines, The incumbent airtel has come out with two offers that allow unlimited calling across the country along with data benefits.
Airtel is now offering two packs - one for Rs 345 and the other for Rs 145.
The Rs 345 pack will allow users to make local and STD calls to any network in India. Along with the pack, the users will also get an added benefit of 1GB of 4G data.
In the Rs 145 pack users will be allowed unlimited cross across the country but only to airtel users. This pack will come with 300MB of data for 4G-ready smartphones and 50 MB of data for basic mobile phones. Both the packs will have a validity of 28 days.
however, the price for the two airtel free voice calling packs may differ in various circles.
After the reliance Jio plan, Aircel had also announced a plan that makes voice calling free for three months and Airtel seems to be following suit
