No housewife is ordinary..

5:30 AM : I wake up just to realize that I had slept off with my mobile phone in my hand, I guess I had fallen asleep while I was messaging my friends in the night..

6:00 AM: I hear the door bell, and some male shouting haalu (milk), wow, how come every day I don't hear his voice I wondered.. ( may be because I am in deep sleep till 10 every morning )

7:30 - 9:00 AM : coffee .. didn’t prepare breakfast tho..

10:30 AM: Cleaned the kitchen, waited for the maid to come and of course started to prepare for cooking lunch..

1:30 PM: Lunch over, house clean, finally I get some rest, I thought but NO! I had to answer the door bell at least 4 times.. its so annoying when your neighbours come just to check if the maid has come.. UFFF.. give me a break!

5:00 PM: Time to hit the kitchen again.. Coffee,, Not again!

In the middle of all this, I had to worry about which vegetables to buy, how much sugar is left, how much soap powder to put .. the work just kept piling on and on and on.. I can give like 1000 examples.. oh my god! sirf behosh hona baaki tha!

7:00 PM: I crash on the sofa and ask my mom, "How, I mean just how have you been doing this for so many years?"

This was just one day, but one day taught me a lesson of a lifetime..it made me realize how ignorant I was! Now, I know how intensely stressful it is to run a house! Its no joke for sure, So, before you complain about the food your mom/wife prepares or you are pissed off by the irritating serials that keep running on your TV.. Please hold yourself back! I certainly will after this experience..

Don't know about anyone else I have realized that being a housewife is definitely not easy!
