Change is the spice of life.
I thought of experimenting with current mouthshut logo and developed a short and crisp tag line (which comes below the logo).
I have retained the logo colours as they are at present. I do not want to change the complete look as people may not be able to accept.
The reasons behind are:
1) This may create some excitement amongst the browsers.
2) A new look logo which takes care of various important aspects of design, essence of the productor services and impact
3) The tagline should give a clear idea as what the product is all about
Option a:
A smiling face in green colour with mouthshut and another one in blue colour with “.com” depict different people from different places and background are happy to share and communicate.
It's a meeting point for people from different places and background.
The font is bold and reading / printing friendly.
A mouthshut celebrity symbol ”a star“ has replaced the conventional “dot”
The tagline reads “Read, write, share, bond” as this space is there for writing your views, thoughts, reading others, sharing and make friends or bond in different ways.
Option b:
The font is a little more informal and friendly, bold and reading/printing friendly even in small sizes.
This option focuses more on the Opinion partas thethumbs up sign in a dialogue circle in place of “O” and thumbs down on the “O” of .com part.
This depicts different people sharing and reviewing different things
From different places and background.
A happy face in orange ( another colour present in the current logo) depict the happy people associated with the website.
Tagline gives the same promise “Read, write, share, bond” covering all the aspects of the website.
