My real encounter with a ghost

It may sound shocking or probably surprising to many. Most of the people believe in ghosts and are afraid of ghosts. Many actually believe in ghosts but refuse to admit in order to show how fearless they are.

Now let me know what ghost is?

Is it a spirit?

Is it a feeling?

Is it only a fear inside us?

Or they are unfulfilled desires?

Or it is a myth?

Here I have heard many people saying there are friendly ghosts and there are harmful ghosts.

I myself do not know the answer and I am sure not many know what’s the truth. You only hear stories of ghosts from your friends, parents, grandparents and others. Books have been written on this subject. Movies have been made too but still there is no proof of their existence.

I would like to share one incidence during my college days.

This was when I moved to the hostel from my home. First 2 years were fine but in 3d year, I was given another room on the first floor. First time I notice something unusual was late in the evening when I came back from late lectures and found the lights on in my room ( it was I single room and no roommate). I did not pay much attention to this and assumed that it was on by mistake or a power cut in the morning and I forgot to switch off the light. I noticed the same thing after a few days ( nobody had a spare key and the lock was temper proof). This time I got suspicious and used to come back early and wait in my friends room right in front of my room in the facing lobby. The Light game stopped.

After sometime we got the date of exams and it was the time to work little harder, I used to work late and go to sleep only after 1:30 or 2:00 am. One morning when I woke up I noticed the speed of the fan was on 2 on the regulator knob and I usually put it on 3 or 4 and this is a old habit.

As mornings in November are chillier I felt like there is some one who is looking after me. First it was lights on when I reached my room and now as if somebody knows I may be feeling cold, it put the fan from 4 to 2 after midnight.

I am sure something was there.

I do not know what it was but never did anything bad. Only thing it did was care for me.

This never happened after 3rd year of my college.

I am sure there was something.
