God's Typewriter

Being agnostic doesn’t really help but I am willing for a moment to assume that God does exist. In that case is there only one God or there are several of them? Considering that we humans are the only species who worship him, one might be enough I guess.

I am not a statistician but I know that are billions of people in this world, God takes care of everyone. Each second there are millions of prayers sent to him, at the same time he needs to create everything. How does he hear them all? Before asking such questions I need to remember that he can do anything and he does everything. Just to make things more believable for me I am pretty sure that there is an advanced processing system aided by tools associated with him.

I may not be totally out of my mind to think that God uses tools. It’s not an original idea you see. I have many examples to prove my point. Zeus is seen with a lightening bolt, Dionysus with a wine cup, Krishna with a flute, Vishnu with the chakra so on, these are just forms of the one universal God and if they can use tools why not the actual one?

It is said that the moment we are born our destiny is written and we only live to fulfill it, and who writes it? God of course! Some people may argue that they are writing their own destiny but that is also written by him it seems. It is interesting why people always say “It’s all written” and not anything else. Why does he feel the need to write our destiny? Simple, he is a writer. So we have clearly established that God writes. Wow! God and I have something in common.

So, according to my theory the one real God is using something to write, what can it be?

What if he is using an old fashioned typewriter?

No, No! It can’t be just a typewriter because in our country alone every second a lot of babies are born so imagine the situation of the whole world. I have to reiterate that God can do anything so it is possible. There has to be some special abilities associated with the typewriter. Does it mean that as soon as he finishes writing our destiny a time stamp is attached and he hits the Enter key and we “enter” this world?

The next question would be in what language does he write our destiny? Obviously he is talking to the Universe and that is something we don’t understand so it might either be encrypted or there must be codes.

E for Engineer

D for Doctor

C for Crazy

DBA for Death by Accident

So on…

So, even God can make mistakes right? One little error or miss in the code or encryption the universe will not understand it and might screw up someone’s life. Now you understand your boss better don’t you? It might also mean that he is partial, some people have it all or it just means that he was in a good mood while writing it.

He really has a thankless job, first he writes our fate and we curse him for that all the time. We demand stuff from him, we sing songs for him, we adore him and sometimes we say he is heartless. We do really send mixed signals to him and may be that’s what is causing the bad mood. So we are in a way affecting other people’s destiny too.

But the important question is he also swayed by modern technology? The typewriter might have got replaced by a desktop or a fancy notebook. Who am I kidding? He doesn’t need technology. He is more advanced than all of us put together, isn’t he?

I truly believe in the God’s typewriter and its magical capabilities. Now back to being agnostic. Amen!
