In a scandalous confession, an Airbnb host has claimed using hidden camera to film sex videos of his guests and trading them with other hosts.

The host, anonymously, revealed this to the secret-sharing project - PostSecret, who took to Facebook to publish the admission as "most talked about secret this week." The post has garnered over 4200 reactions and 1100 shares, drawing the ire of many

However, no action has been taken as the Airbnb spokesperson said, "there is no evidence to support this claim," Mail Online reported.

The spokesperson further added, "We take privacy issues extremely seriously and have a zero tolerance policy for hidden cameras."

Airbnb mentions in its hosting policies: Always be mindful of your guests' privacy. Fully disclose whether there are security cameras or other surveillance equipment at or around your listing. Make sure you are aware of and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

While moral policing has made life miserable for couples in public, their private life is now not immune from voyeuristic eyes.

This news also puts Airbnb hosts who have been making an effort to keep their guests happy and safe in a bad light.

Lurking between guest rooms and hotel rooms, Airbnb allows people to rent flats or rooms on listed properties and has more than 1.5 million listings spread across 191 different countries in 34000 cities.

In 2015, a redditor claimed to have found a hidden camera meshed in a basket which they unplugged leaving them with security and privacy concerns, Observer reported - https://observer.com/2015/01/couple-wakes-up-in-airbnb-to-find-hidden-cameras-watching-them/

Sex or no sex, no one likes being watched. Hidden cameras is a violation of privacy. Hosts must be reported and sued for the unmentioned surveillance.
