@ shiganus1, its quite late in reverting and i feel you would have bought a car by now...!! however, here is my revert...city has increased its ground clearance by 10 mm wrt its previous model...though it helps a little, it has a tendancy to give a feeling of a low gc car and that i think is because... of 2 factors...1st the front overhang tends to touch the road when you have 4-5 people in the car and go over a bump at a speed more than what you normally keep over a speed breaker and come on the other side of the bump and the 2nd, there are couple of parts like the eshaust assembly's lower most portion and then the rear suspension links tend to touch the ground when one of the rear wheel gets into potholes... While this may sound little worrysome...all the cars in this segment are more or less show similar volnureability wrt effet of ground clearance.Read More

@hari_8788, SZ R...i saw all 3 colors in the show room...i feel it looks better than the szx with those silver colored side panels as well as tank scoops...gear shifting in szx is quite nice and smooth...no issues at all...thx

@ Rajesh Sinha...Thx v much...@kseeker...thanks very much...btw RX100 was a great bike ( i own one of 94 make ) but the new ones from yamaha like FZ and R 15 are also awesome...u can test drive 'em to appreciate that fact. @ monty_22...uni's engine is better and smoother as compared to SZ X....no do...ubt about that....i love uni for that aspect..sz x gives good value for money at 59k..!!.if u want to change to something new... wait for about 3-4 months and Honda 250 cc will be launched...that will be a wonderful bike to possess..!!Read More

@ subbaiah, It generally performs decently if maintained well and scores decent too on reliability , pick up , comfort and handling as compared to the other bikes of 150cc; it scores better in style though. @ hondarocks, Kick is available and can be fitted to the yam fz16. Also, its q...uite easy to start the bike by just rotating rear wheel gently with your hand and then releasing clutch lever ( while in 2nd gear ). Also, choke needs to be applied in the morning to compensate for colder engines tendency to turn off. This has to be done even in the most refined uni...!! I have probably the oldest FZ on road ( i bought it on 12th oct 08) and am quite happy with the performace. Yamaha also rocks...!!Read More

@ Vatz, Hi , I own FZ16 since oct09 and would like to mention a few things here. About Vibrations at a certain speed 1.Front Fork Tuning 2.Chain play and 3.Tyre presssure correctness are the three most impacting factors on vibration. About Pain in Palm Try one thing - Rotate the position ...of handle bar ( there are 4 screws ; loosening that will get bar down) so that the grips come closest to your body ( when you are driving). Reduced distance from your body to Grips will reduce stretching and holding the accelerator and will reduce stress and pain also. I got this done and now there is a reduced stress and pain. About engine noise - yes engine is a bit noisy and even after tuning or valve readjustment , it feels noisy. One thing that helped was to lubricate chain with a thick oil which reduce noise due to chain and helped reduce lots of noise ( but certainly not of engine). Cleaning of air filter helps reducign some noise. Read More

@ sachinagr, Your opinion looks totally biased as i find that after owning swift you are now looking at an upgrade to an A star! or a ritz! which to my mind is not an upgrade but an out n out advocacy of Marutisuzuki vehicles. Otherwise you wud have talked about an i20 or a punto. By the way... , i did own a maruti suzuki car earlier and now using a hyundai but let me tell you that the power that you have mentioned in 2nd gear is a little more than what i experienced in an SX4...yes SX4 with AC on and 3 people in that , it dragged....does not respond to the accelerator quickly and felt as if i had loaded some 200 kgs in the boot and 4 passengers. While accent is no doubt an old car has a decent pick up and can always beat a maruti product on torque front....!! Accent after 9 years of its launch , without a major upgrade is being sold as it obviously has so many good points to show.Read More
