3.ImpressionsVery modern and sporty update, the looks. This is your first impression. Then it looks like telling you, push me beyond 150 if you want to, buster! Swing over onto the race-type seat and you feel planted for a racy ride. Interested? Read on.

Ride like you own the road; the road will own you.Start it up with the self and it gives the lovely bikey sound.....you know ur smile will come in because its a racy 250cc powerplant. Then you can race it or gradually speed up - that is your choice. Mouth-watering. It shows it is no 150cc/200cc as it pulls away happily. Then when you hit that 6th gear, you're not seeing much around you as would you have hit 80s....and into the 100s from there on.

The engine speeds up with power that gets noisy beyond 10K RPM - but good for hiways & can keep up with the 500cc/600cc bikes.

All the way through the gears, The Ninja 250 wants to be revved. Then you will outgun the Honda/HH/Pulsar/CBZ etc......all the way to the range where they cannot reach. That's the 140+ range. Then you climb into the higher revs. The Ninja is now sweating. But it can go on. Upto 170+ kmphs, the league of the higher bike bhaktas. But then you're hitting redlines, 14000 RPMs....and

higher.Nirvana at 160+.....kmph..

Warning: Try a curve at 150+ only if you know ur bike are a good handler or you would GET KILLED. I know from experience on my 650cc Hyosung twin. I drop speeds to 120 kmph on curves or when there is too much traffic on hiways. I have touched 200kmph on a car, but that's different.

Brakes: quite effective

Looks big, feels compact, power-fool ! After a while, you want big fellas like Suzuki SV1000/Honda CB1000RR or the KAwasaki ZX-14.

4. Verdict

But the Baby 250 hols its own in its league and beyond. Winner for sport bike lovers. Hands down, though this is no speedy Ducati, they're real fast bikes..... Honda CBR 125 FI with 17 HP comes good, but Honda is not a Ninja...

If priced right say for 1 lac or 1.1 lac, and gives at least 30-35 kmpl; with top speed say 150-160kmph (detuned, otherwise fuel efficinecy will drop to 20 kmpl) Kawasaki will have won the hearts of "Definitely male" and the big "H" lovers and some Bullet 500 lovers too...**Potency: Super-Male

Attracts: Potent Girl friend, be prepared to pamper her.*

*5. Alternative

*Hysoung 250.

Looks bigger, more HP but less top end speed. Have the Hyosung 250 with more power/Fuel Injection and aftermarket Yoshimura style exhaust as seen on Hayanusa 1300GSX or the TVS Apache and Hyosung 250 is a great option.

Or maybe Yamaha 250 Fazer or the Baja Pulsar 250 or TVS Apache 250?

Nice alternatives. No kidding here. The Baby Ninja is not a kid too. Like Rafael Nadal. Knocks out Powerful muscle punches on the court. On the hiway, I mean.
