When I was living in Delhi a few years back, I got sick and tired of walking 2 hours to and from work at the curry store everyday. My solution came to me one day when I was walking by a group of men praying

to a big statue of an Elephant. About 20 feet away from the group of men I noticed a 1999 Bejaj Chetak scooter with its keys still in the ignition. I figured why not help myself. After all, if these guys were stupid enough to be praying to a big stone elephant, they would probably be stupid enough to notice the scooter missing. Heck, maybe the poor bugger who owned the scooter might even think that the elephant goddess took his scooter as an offering. So I put up the kickstand and casually wheeled  my new scooter away. I waited until I got about 100 feet away before hopping on and starting the engine. Once I got this SOB started I was on my way to work in style.

What would normally take me 2 hours to walk, took me a mere 15 minutes. I was very impressed with the way this scooter handled. It gave me a nice smooth ride and was easy to control. I even managed to swerve through a crowd of people worshipping cows with little ease. The gas milage was also great on the Chetak. Much better then the last scooter I stole when I lived in Pakistan.

In the end I would highly reccomend the Bajaj Chetak. Believe me, I have driven many scooters and this is the best hands down.
