i agree with you, sometimes we get lemon car. some batches have issues. You can read my Ritz review . Curently my ritz is again in workshop, seems like ELM got busted for which they need to replace the whole ECU board . Trying to get it in Warranty ,Still maruti is reviewing it

Please change your tires to michelin, continental or bridgestone . The stock OEM tires like JK and MRF does not have high quality and vary with batches.
For you own safety and high quality of driving experience change those OEM tires as soon as you get your new vehicle

Are you seeing oil leaking issues on the latest model, does your vehicle have disc brake , how is the brakign experience. I have booked one with disc option and waiting period is 3 weeks. Still have time to change my decision

2015 wego vs 2011 Wego comparison as I researched:
1. Engine colour has been changed to black finish and combustion chamber has been modified a bit along with CVTi ( fully sourced from jupiter )
2. Exhaust has been changed ( from Jupiter )
3. Digital Console
4. Tubeless tyres
5. Option of disc ...brakes ( only white colour available in Mumbai as per dealer)
6. Heard gas filled rear shocks, but i think it was available even in 2011 model
Guys I'm confused with 2015 Wego with Disc vs Aviator with Disc , Aviator cost 71000 on road mumbai while Wego cost 62000 . Head tells me Aviator while heart says Wego. Anyone purchased 2015 wego , has the old issues got solved ?Read More

The only other improvement I will suggest TVS is to increase fuel tank capacity to 8 litres from current 5. If that is done, this will be the perfect scooter in indian market
When i was using Wego, i used to wish for disc brakes and happy to see TVS bringing in a sea of changes along with a disc brake option
If Jupiter had disc version, i would have brought Jupiter for a difference , dont think it is easier than Wego on heavy traffic roads

I agree with you , i was using wego 2011 model . battery issue was present , Now they have upgraded to 5mA one from 4mA . Vehicle looks good and mileage also good, but the quality of parts used were not up tp mark, But i enjoyed every drive i took around. Eventually I had to sell after completing 11...000 kms in a year due to relocation. Recently i started looking for scooter, and again shortlisted Wego with Disc brakes. paid initial 1000 Rs booking amount and waiting period is 3 weeks. Still thinking Aviator Disc vs Wego disc . But vehicles along coastal areas do get rusted in 6-7 years , but in 3 years never happened to any of my other cars. you don't know how well i maintain my cars, every service is done at correct time , and moreover most of them are garaged . ...i've attached the pics also , couldn't upload more than 2 . I am steadily getting 12 with AC inside mumbai city after changing clutch plates
I have never heard petrol car with 1 TON weight giving 20 kms inside city. As I already mentioned , after changing plates, on highway i got 19 kms , this ...is non vvt engine.

Vehicle is good in most of the ways , good utility and spacious , its just the quality of components used by Maruti which is not good

Do you own Ritz petrol variants ? i brought ritz vxi blindly as I had a diesel version in Bangalore. Moreover after driving 50000 kms in i10 kappa 2 , even though power is less compared to Ritz vx...i, the brakes clutch and other parts are still not showing age where as Ritz vxi already started rusting and other issues have cropped up . Cant a person own 2-3 different cars ?
I compared with other cars to prove the clutch and body rusting issue , whch I have never encountered in any of the other models and make so early in life

Hi Ravi, from my exp in Bangalore not all Indian oil pumps were good, try to get a good petrol bunk .I was filling from Shell . 45 is good for an automatic. 60 is not possible , but 50 is realistic for Wego if you drive her properly

Yes, I had to change the battery just after a yr, I brought a amaron battery and as it was not fitting inside the battery slot, kept it under the seat . Now its going on fine. But i feel the quality of tvs has reduced a lot , Need to update the review as I have covered 12k kms
