Total distance covered: 2800 kms( 6 months)
mileage: around 50 kms/lit(dont go above 50 in city)
petrol used: Shell pump
oil used: shell synthetic
I brought Wego just before I purchased my Ritz vdi.
Previously owned a TVS Victor( 60 k kms in 7 yrs) brought during my 1st year engineering . I din't have any problem as a good mechanic was available in Mumbai near to my house. In the end I had problem of finding worn out rubber parts. When I came to Bangalore I sold her to a friend of mine Rs.16k and brought a Wego here .
Positives:
Very easy for ladies to put the main stand
it's like a bike, not much vibrations except for potholed roads
Petrol used is from Shell, and some days I manage 54 kms also(light throttle, never I have raised beyond 55 km/hr)
always start with the first kick / electric, even if she has not been used for 3-4 days
Metal body but I don't get the heavy feel of Activa:(
Very good for solo driving
good amount of storage space, front box allows me to kept he papers and the helmet within the seat storage
External fuel cap, but I doubt whether water will enter through it during rains( my victor had this problem)

Activa : 1238 mm
Aviator : 1256 mm

negatives:
- Air Pressure:
One of the main reasons for getting less mileage. I am highlighting it because, Even if I use her daily, air pressure reduces. Guys please check that you are maintaining the correct pressure and driving . else you will get mileage of 40 only
.The quality of rim used is not good I feel, that's the reason it loses pressure. Tyres provide adequate grip
Body balance doesn't work when a pillion rider is present, vehicle does loses balance a bit . My wife finds it difficult to drive with me as pillion
Very difficult to open the engine compartment. Its screwed unlike Activa. And fitting it again back to original is very difficult and time consuming
Other than this I don't know much as I have not driven any other gearless except Access.
My friend got his access in Bangalore along with me( he booked 8 months back) I got my delivery within a week . He gets a mileage of 37-40 max and the vehicle has vibrations during the initial 0-30 km/hr speed
I dont know whether all Access has this problem, or specifchandru 021y his.Service centre guys says that his vehicle is perfectly okay. I wanted to book access before but because of the waiting period I booked Wego.
Guys . whatever it is, our money, we have invested in a vehicle . Look after her and she wont misbehave.
I saw some reviews as negative, but I feel some times you are unlucky to get a good tuned carburetor, just get a good mechanic in your area and try to solve the issue.
Only once my Wego has been serviced by these dealers(1st service), I have been doing it on my own for past 5 months. I replace oil from petrol bunks in front of my eyes.
I don't believe Service centres, only if major work is there I will give them. As such within 2 years we will never see a engine getting damaged, so no use of giving to such service centres and be afraid of warranty loss . Better is to service with the help of a local mechanic who will do it in front of our eyes.
update: 3300 kms
Now a days due to more highway runs, I'm driving her at speeds reaching 60. Shes stable but a BIKE is something that we will miss at high speeds. @60 we feel as if we are flying .
Can anyone suggest me any place where I can fit the combination brakes of Aviator(along with disc in front)?
4th Service(12 months): 6500 kms done. service cost Rs.170(excluding oil) . I had changed oil @5000 kms form shell petrol bunk. synthetic oil.
problems: rear shocks
Changed the Valve pin in the front tyres and the "tyres losing pressure" issue got solved. Some batches had this issue
Update: March 2013, sold Wego as I moved to US and moving out of Bangalore also
11000 kms done and got 40k, was a good companion for me
TVS should look to solve for the battery issue and oil leak around the gasket.
