Please do not compare scooter with bikes I am using my Wego since 2012 and it ran 30000KM in city conditions. I use it in highway once every week for 150KM drive. But sill now my scooter has no problem at all and gives 40-45 mileage. I do service after every 2500KM / 3 months for mainten...ance, engine oil replacement, brake adjustment After every 7-8 months the service men polish it, fill water in battery and charge it. Show your scooter to different service center. My scooter once had the same problem, I had shown it to a different service center. From the last 2 years my scooter has no problem at all. I never use kick start as I never need to do so. The service men made the self start of my scooter so ea...sy that it never misses. Ask your mechanic why did'n't he maintain the battery. He should know that the battery in the scooter is not dry cell. I had same problem in self start after 12 months of purchase. I shown this to a different service center and they resolved the issue. I bought mine on 2012 and it has al...ready 30000 KM passed, from the last 2 years it has no problems at all and runs very smooth.
