TVS Wego (2014 Edition). Review on TVS Wego

Hi everyone who is planning to buy a new scooty(specially tvs wego 2014 edition)

I purchased a new tvs wego(2014 edition) on 29th november from ABHISHEK TVS(Authorized Dealer of TVS in Andheri east, Mumbai)

B'coz I read good reviews about it everywhere and even from the people who own tvs wego.

First of all I would say it's a good scooty, very suitable for girls and specially for those who doesn't know how to ride a scooty AS IT HAS BODY BALANCE TECHNOLOGY(As it has CENTRALISIED ENGINE) which makes it have a good control.

I rode honda activa, dio, aviator, yamaha ray, wespa and tvs scooty pep+) so the control and handling is better in tvs wego 2014.

Second Thing Speed, Weight And Mainstand: speed is almost as fast as wespa, faster than activa, dio and other scooties as it is lighter than them.

Now lastly talking about it's mainstand, it is like cycle, you just need to put weight on it and it will automatically go on mainstand, no need to apply force and pulling and stuff. Very Easy For Girls.

Third and Most Important Aspect AVERAGE: After taking it from the showroom, I filled 120rs petrol which was around 1.69 litres or so and the scooty was at zero lines and at 2km total trip after filling petrol, it showed me 3 lines on the fuel meter and then I rode it from 2 kms to 88 kms(40 kms on highway).

after that again I filled petrol, this time of 130 rs - 1.85 liters and again it showed me 3 lines this time I rode only 65 kms from and the fuel meter didn't show me accurate fuel it was fluctuating sometimes it shows 3 lines, sometimes 2 and nowadays it is showing 1 line or no line.(Speedometer is digital, though it doesn't show speed in digits, but it looks very cool and stylish)

so basically this scooty gives average of about 40 kms in city and 50-55 kms on highways, (as far as my knowledge if you ride it continously at 40-45 kms speed in a stretch even in city every simple bike/scooty will give you good average)

Now Talking about headlight: Even if you don't accelerate, the headlight doesn't go dim unlike other scooties. There is a passing/upper light button given in this but it only works if your headlight is on.

LASTLY TALKING ABOUT THE THINGS WHICH I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT/ NEGATIVE THINGS/ CONS IS THAT:-

AS I Said, I purchased This NEW TVS WEGO(2014 edition) on 29th november from ABHISHEK TVS(Authorized Dealer of TVS in Andheri east, Mumbai) and from the very first day, it is making noise when it is going on speedbreakers or on small potholes.

I spoke with the manager in abhishek tvs, I showed him the scooty, he told me to take it to the service center, I took it to the service center, one man named'Sukhdev' at the service center  he took a test ride/drive of the scooty (first  time alone, second time with me).

Then he told me that it is coming from the shock ups/Suspension and it is common in scooty because it is new and it will go in few days and if it doesn't go, we will repair it in the FIRST SERVICING, I said him, ok I will check if it goes in 2-3 days and i'll contact you again.

8 days have passed but the noise is still coming out of it when it goes on speedbreakers and on potholes.:(

Conclusion:- I don't like the sound coming and it's inaccurate fuel meter, otherwise the bike is awesome, everyone should go for it.

PS:- I'm sorry for a very long review but I felt to share everything about this scooty, HOPE it helps the people who are LOOKING FOR A NEW SCOOTY.

And for the boys who are confused whether what bike or a scooty to buy(FOR THE BEST AVERAGE), I would recommend/suggest them to go for TVS SPORT.

(The Virat Kohli advertisement wali bike:p) or go for Mahindra Centuro, these bikes give 70-75 kms average in city and 85-90 kms on highway.
