I have a question to you all: Has anyone verified that the signal strength as shown by the dialer is the same as shown by a cdma cell phone? I mean how accurate is the signal strength indicator? For all we know it might show full signal even when there is hardly any signal (just like most dialers... show a constant speed irrespective of real bandwidth) Also, I wish there was a way of suing these companies black and blue without first dying of old age. Being able to sue for millions is the only way to prevent these companies from making wild and totally false claims. Seems to me like once you purchase a sim card the Indian Cellular service providers have direct access to your wallet. I have heard horror stories about double billings when ATM's are used as a means to refill the talk time. Also, there seems to be no transparency on the actual call charges for p...re-paid cards. Plz be informed that Trump rates have been revised - new rates average to approx Rs 2.40/minute, (fixed+wll+cell dived by 3) ISD at Rs 16/minute and SMS at 0.80/each outgoing. Only Rs 500 refill has validity of 45 days. However, a 300 refill from Orange/BPL etc. comes with approx 150 worth of tal...ktime well as Trump gives you about 240 worth of talk time. Also Trump per call rates are ALL marginally lower than other service providers so all other things remaining the same..Trump is still better value for money... However one small (or big) disadvantage of Trump - SMS to Trump is not supported by most Website to mobile services. Do I use Trump? no not yet.. but will move to Trump as soon as I finish my Orange Talk Time. No harm in trying... is there?Read More

My home town is GOA and I honestly wouldn't advise any sane person to go the Goa during the period March to Aug. - It's way too hot and humid. (Unless you intend to spend the time inside an ac room all day) Dipti
