You are right, this offers great quality and decent features. The only reason of not recommending is mentioned in the last statement that 400D has been launched. not that costly but overcomes two of the biggest drawbacks of this camera

Hi srinivas, I agree with the resale value. I bought this for 200 GBP with memory card last year may from Amazon and the prices shot up within a month to 235 and then to 300 GBP. Although i have moved on to a DSLR now, still, everytime i take a snap from my old friend, i am always amazed at th...e quality that this dark horse provides. As far as size is concerned, i would like it to be a little bigger actually (at the grip not otherwise). The only drawback till date that i found in this camera was the noise level at high ISO, something for which I have to use a software to correct. Hi Sunil, Thanks for the feedback. There is one more thing that i found out about this phone (only after using it for some time). I am unable to store SMS on phone memory. They just remain in the SIM card only and if you take out your sim and reinsert it, you lose all of them. Anyone knows ...a way out?? Help appreciated. BTW, apart from the SMS and memory fiasco, this phone is a beauty and i still love it. Samsung has also brought an ultraslim model Z510 and from its side view, it is really difficult to distinguish it from Motorazr.Read More

The reason why i did not went into the technical details was as they are available on a lot of web sites and wanted to concentrate on features that usually are not written in the specs. Further, i am learning the art of reviewing which many of you are masters of so will make sure it is better nex...t time. As for the display of the cell, it is pretty large and has very clear graphics. Also the font size is pretty good for dialled numbers making it easier to read. Great review Nishant, brings back the memories of the races for whole of the year. This year was a lot better than last when it was totally dominated by Ferrari. A-1 Championship is also starting this year and that will also be another treat to watch as the cars are going to be same for all teams w...ith no dirty air to make overtaking easy and more common than now. My only worry for F1 is the proposed downgrade of engines from current V10 to V8 next year which will make the cars slower and in the same class as A-1 cars. I hope the fan following doesnt shift to A-1 racing for the similarity of cars and national loyalty.Read More

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately this is not a 3G phone so it wont work on the 3 Network. I think memory is the bane of this otherwise extremely good mobile. Dheeraj
