yeah after nearly year back i have put down some reviews and will continue to do so in future....regarding the illumination part you are correct, but if you want this to have both ie still images and video , then this is not the best, because still images are bad when you get the print... , but good when in PC, as its just 0.8mpp , i use my canon digi camera when it comes to photography, rather than this...this is good for video and zoom just awesome...We should either compromise on Zoom for still image quality , better in that price you get a good digi camera itself which will serve your purpose..
