Yes Kartik, I had changed my CSC under warranty on my 1st service. It is only a few hours job to replace the CSC. You give in the morning, by 2-3 hours your car would be ready. May be you can get it done in your 1st or 2nd service. Below are the email ID for FIAT top brass. Try sending them a mail a...nd see if your things are getting done.

I m sorry to hear about this type of attitude from Fiat. But this attitude is not the same with all agents. In my case, though I was abroad, I sent a mail to RF motors as my family wanted to see the vehicle. The very next day they drove 75 kms from Cochin to my house and took my family for a drive t...oo as no one except me drives this car. They all liked it so much that my Dad gave the booking amount the same day. I think you should also try with some other TATA-FIAT agencies apart from the one whom you approached.Read More

Linea have less power and less torque is a completely wrong notion. Just drive it to believe it, dont go by what others say. It's true that in 1st & 2nd gear there is slag, but once you put her in 3rd gear she would race forward like a race horse, drive it to believe me. I am telling out of my perso...nal ownership experience. Yes, the T-jet will surely smoke all other cars and I suppose it also comes with a lot of additional features like rain sensonr, night sensor, cruise control etc that will surely put it on top.Read More

Yes it seems yz12 is very much insecure about his Honda city. The reviews that we have put in are only facts and real time ownership reviews of our car that we have owned and not given after just a 30-45 minutes test drive to decide whether a brand of vehicle is good or bad. You cannot make any deci...sion by driving like this. yz12, have you driven a Linea before, if not you dont have any say here to give your negative comments on Linea. Nice review anandnandan123. No doubt Linea is supreme to any other cars in its segment on our roads today. NH city is good in looks and only a petrol version is available. Like you said, car companies like Maruti had such huge sale figures for their Dzire & Swift only because of the Fiat engine.... Now that Fiat has stopped delivering its engines to Maruti, the sales figures for these cars would nose dive. Now Punto is picking up and is seen everywhere and so is Linea.

Dear Visanswer, I also own a Diesel emotion pk bought in April. My car has run 3000 kms and gives me 24.8 kmpl on highways and 17.3 kmpl in city with AC. The Blue&me is working fine with me. You need to speak little slowly word by word and the system responds to your voice instantly. Please try it a...gain. The central lock command is clearly mentioned in the manual. Probably your's must be in 'OFF' position. You can take it your service centre and they can help you with that.
Regarding reversing, Linea is the easiest car to reverse as it has got the mirrors that can be adjusted by the buttons on your side door. Even if it is a problem you can always fix reverse sensors/ camera which would do a great job.
This is infact a new car with so many features we have'nt come across in any other cars. Just because we dont know these new features it doesnt mean the product is not good.

Dear Shopra, This is one in a 1000 case. You have to take the car to Concord motors and leave the car there and come. Then they'll start pursuing you to take away your car. Also lodge a police complaint against the dealer for selling you a defective product and also file a case in the Consumer court.... As you have all the details of your breakdowns and the work carried out by different dealers, you case could prove strong and in fact they should give you a replacement car for all the mental agony you have suffered. Dear Mohanaik, Sorry for the extremely delayed reply. I suppose you must have already bought a car by now. Anyway, my Tavera has crossed 65000 kms and still there is no difference in its performance. In highways I m getting around 18 kmpl at a constant speed of 60-70 kmph. There were some niggling i...ssues but I kept rectifying it immediately and hence no major repairs were done (touch wood). The comfort is also very good and particularly on long journeys with full load (11 passengers) it is more comfortable. Unlike scorpio there is no bumpy ride for the rear (3rd row) passengers. AC is also powerful enough to cool the 3rd row passengers. I follow the service schedule strictly and preventative maintenance is also done regularly when ever I see or hear anything different. Good review, Yatin. Those who have bought Linea knows that it is 'Admiration Guaranteed' & above all 'Satisfaction Guaranteed'. I m also a Linea Emo Pk owner of Vocal White. I have got 23.8 kms on highway at 60 kmph speed and it would have gone above that if not for the slow moving traffic. Honda Hy...undai, Ford, etc., cannot be compared with Linea as this car offers so many extra features which cannot be seen even in higher segment cars. So the price is very much justified. But as someone mentioned, they should start their own A.S.S. because sometimes I feel TATA's step motherly treatment towards Linea to sell more of their cars.

You commented that TATA is meant for selling cars like Nano only and not high value cars. But now shortly they would be selling Jaguar and Land Rovers as well.
I believe yours is an exceptional case. My TATA dealer in cochin is really very helpful and delivered my car before schedule. Actually I ...was delayed in getting the finance paperwork done. Fiesta Verna and others can never come even near to Linea when it compare all the features and above all the ride quality and control this car gives out and that too at this price. Most of this car's features you dont even get in 'D' segment cars like Toyotas & Skodas even.

Venoos, is that figure 833134 your on the road price. I bought the car from RF motors cochin on 23rd April and it came to 909000 OTR. Please confirm.
Otheriwise like you said, the car is excellent.

Yes, I totally agree with you all. Even I have registered on it and there was no reply, when I sent a mail to their support team, I got a reply back saying that either my 'Why Team-BHP' remarks were too short or had defective language and hence to register again!!!. Now I'll register one more time a...nd if they are not interested in our reviews, there are many other informative forums on automobiles. It is only good to read the Pros & Cons about different vehicles and you get to know an opinion about any vehicle before you actually see it. I am already a regular participant member on Mouthshut.com which is also an excellent Forum not only on automobiles but on anything you want.Read More

I fully agree with 'Carolnettar' comments. I strongly believe that at present Tavera is the most reliable MUV on Indian roads. Sumo Grande/ Scorpio etc are there only for looks, but for reliability, ride, mileage, maintenance etc., Tavera is good.

Thank u for putting this on MS. I was thinking of Jetta or Linea and with this sort of experience, I would rather go in for Fiat Linea. On the reviews, no one has remarked anything bad about Linea and every review is commending highly about this car. So Good bye Jetta.

Sorry to read the experience you had my friend. But it's not true. I bought a Tavera in Apr 2007 and just finished service after 60000 kms. I am getting a good performance and the ride is also very comfort and the insided is so spacious. I have personally checked the mileage by filling up the tank f...ull and driving for 300 kms and again re-fuelling. I got 17.5 to 18 kmpl and locally it is near 14-15 on an average.
By the mileage you mention, I suppose you are having a Petrol vehicle.
I do agree the service of GM motors is very poor and hence I stopped giving to them after my 3rd service and getting it done locally. But I do make sure that the service and preventative maintanence is done regularly to keep my car in perfect running condition.
I would suggest you should send a letter to GM directly and not to the agent and mention all your problems. Probably they can help you.
