Buying a flat with Kalpataru has been one of my worst realestate experiences. At the time of sale, everything sounds attractive: promises of subvention schemes, smooth processes, assured timelines, and positive narratives around future appreciation. Once the deal is done, the reality is completely different.
Kalpatarus customer support and CRM teams are absolutely pathetic. Communication is inconsistent, delayed, and often contradictory. Queries go unanswered for weeks, there is zero transparency on project progress, and clarity has to be chased endlesslysomething that is particularly difficult for NRIs who rely heavily on accurate and timely information.
In January this year, the CRM team clearly confirmed that possession and OC would be in 2027. Then, out of nowhere in March, I received a call stating that the OC would be issued by April and that my bank EMIs would start immediately under the subvention scheme. When I asked for a copy of the OC to validate this sudden change, nothing was shared despite repeated followups. Even today, there is no official written confirmation or documentation.
There are no concrete updates on construction progress or possession timelines, yet the team is very efficient when it comes to chasing payments and sending notices. This kind of behavior raises serious red flags and completely destroys customer trust.
For a supposedly premium builder like Kalpataru, this level of customer neglect, poor governance, and lack of accountability is shocking. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise NRIs to stay away from Kalpataru projects unless you are prepared for constant followups, confusion, and unnecessary stress.
This has been an exhausting and deeply frustrating experience, and I regret trusting the brand name.
