New Contests - coming soon

Apr 23, 2014 04:16 PM

Suraaz, na hona Naraaz :) @Suraaz - dude, you are already an accomplished writer, why do you need a stamp of approval on your blogs and reviews, I believe Mouthshut did the right thing by encouraging new members to write, I think it helps in forging new relationships between people and finally e...very website's strength are in its members. The more they have, the better they are. Star writers should appreciate this and look at the brighter side, it did bring some of the old members back, isn't that great. You have been given the star status because you deserve it, shouldn't guys like you be the ones showing the way to new members rather than cribbing? Think about it dude :) Anyways nice to know a new contest is coming. Don't prolong the wait though!Read More

That some seriously good stuff there! While I'm not a fan of Tarantino, I did watch the movie, and I HATED it, I was 13 and I could see Uma Thurman in my dreams. On top of that, a teacher of mine used to look like her, and every time she came into my class, I used to be afraid. But then I saw ...it again after 4-5 years. It was good, really good. Carefull introspection made me realise that I was just too young to watch it the first time and was on an overdose of Karan Johar movies which in fact made this 'Quentin Tarantino' Classic unfathomably crazy. And girls getting so violent was undesirable( especially when you have just hit puberty) . Then I happened to ask my mother what would she have done in a similar case, she said she would have killed them too. Ok so, women can be violent! This actually proved very helpful, I would always to background checks before hitting on a girl. I loved your review, but I would never have wanted it to go on and on. I guess, I am faint hearted and now I'm going to download the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and if I'd love it to go on and on, I'll reduce my review rating to 'Useful' :P Anyways great job man! You have earned one loyal fan :)Read More

Every grown up has a child in him :) Nice to see grown ups enjoying cartoons, my little brother watches it too, so inevitably I have to watch it while having tea in the morning. I used to get irritated at first, but my mother used to sober me up reminding me of how I never let dad watch cricket high...lights early in the morning as I never wanted to miss the daily dose of Tom and Jerry. I still think it lacks the quality of Tom and Jerry and other cartoons of the nineties. Maybe its because I have never learnt to accept it as yet. But it is very interesting to see kids get influenced by cartoons, they see nice things and accept those as moral values while we (grown ups) see all the things happening wrong in society and degrade ourselves morally everyday. Open Aaj Tak or IBN Live, the first thing I see in the morning is political mudslinging, a Murder story or a Rape. Then we (my family) start discussing every other that is wrong with our country while my little brother cunningly changes the channels. We don't even notice it as we are already engrossed in the problems our daily dose of news had highlighted. At times my parents scold him for watching cartoons and not concentrating on studies but what they really don't realize is that moral education is the need of our times where morality had dipped to worrying lows and these cartoons may be a really good way to teach the young ones the right way to lead the life. But what about the grownups then? Anyways, good review there, keep writing !Read More

Wow! I can imagine how boring the movie might be as you are bored even to write about it. But whatever you have written is brilliant and borderline funny, And as you rightly noted only Salman would be capable enough to carry such a role without any help from any other aspect of the movie. But I don'...t think this movie will be a commercial failure as even after reading this review, I still going to watch it. Just for Salman!Read More

Nice! Was planning to watch it at home after downloading it (Torrents Zindabad). But your description of the movie has made me rethink the decision. I guess I'll have to wait till my parents go to sleep. But I'm really not sure if its impact won't touch me! (BTW...I especially loved the beginning...) I don't know why but Hollywood comedy be it dark or light turns vulgar most of the times. And Leonardo doing comedy was really unexpected, I'm not a huge fan of him still I don't want to give this movie a miss. And Scorcese 'Violence' is graceful, Quentin 'Violence' is not! And when it comes to biographies, nudity is customary at least in the movies I have seen. Until it is TASTEFULLY done! Read More

Wow! I loved the review, one of the best movie reviews I have read in recent times. And I simply Mohanlal, some of his movies in the golden 90's are always on my weekend watch list. But for some time he has been disappointing me a lot. Only a few Lal movie have ever generated interest in... me, mainly the one's in which he collaborated with Blessy and Santhyan Anthikad. He should stick to such roles and stop doing 'I am a Super Hero' movies. His body looks really awkward. The quality of scripts in Malayalam has had a downfall and its good to see such scripts cropping up. Its good to see that he frequency is on the rise. I will surely watch this movie now as it is playing in Mumbai. But the lack of enough distribution bugs me a lot. And I think 'Manichithrathazu' is better than 'Yavanika',mainly becuase I like Mohanlal more than Mammooty :)Read More

Wohoo! Someone did actually buy this monster. And riding on the roads in Kerala, from Thrissur to Munnar (If I'm right) I can imagine what you might have gone through :) It is really surprising to see that the bike gives 32 kmpl, are you sure about the figure? I never imagined a KTM would giv...e that. But I guess traffic might have been on the lighter side (Correct me if I'm wrong) And I really don't think the KTM390 is made for pillion riding, its made for adventure loving freaks and freakish it is! A friend of mine had a KTM200 and the beast gave him quite a few scars and broken bones. I think the government needs to announce an 'accident cess' for the benefit of every KTM Rider in the country. And in India if the bike doesn't get you, the roads will ;) Great Review BTW and wonderful analysis, Great work buddy . But sorry, I'm not going to buy this. Itne paise me toh mera 2 saal engineering nikal jayega. Like you, I really love the design. KTM entry into the Indian market has been great for bike enthusiasts and possibly a head ache for the traffic management. And God bless your friend. I know Kerala is known as God's own country but my experience tells me its a land of bad roads and drunk men. So be safe. Cheers Akshay Read More
