Dance is not only a movement of a body. It is a special type of body language. It is dance for them who can understand it otherwise it is only entertainment. One can express his/her emotions, joy, sadness, love, anger, hate through dancing. Dance is a God gift to some people only.

”DIL DOSTI DANCE”(D3) is a serial which arises on Channel V. It telecast from Monday to Friday. This show has done his 1st episode on 11th April 2011 and till now it has completed up to 727 and many more to come. This serial is based on dance, love, romance, emotions etc. but it is not like a “Saas-Bahu” serial type, and the best thing is that all the characters in this serial are professional dancers. The 2 lead couples in this are Rey and Kriya (Kunwar Amarjeet Singh and Shakti Mohan) & Swayam and Sharon(Shanthanu Maheshwari & Vrushika Mehta).
What makes Dil Dosti Dance interesting?
The show is about love, friendship, and the most important dance. In this show they have given more importance on cast who are professional dancers. If you love dance like me, then you will love this serial. Overall, I can say that it is a good serial with a freshness element.
This serial balances both the drama and the dance together. The serial show the about the youth people and their college life. Shakti Mohan and Kunwar Amarjeet Singh both is my favorite dancer. There was also special entry of Karan Shing Grover, who is also my favorite. I Love to watch D3 but after Shakti left the show I don’t like much to watch but because of Kunwar Amarjeet Singh I watch it. And thanks to D3 Shakti is back with by being the professional dancer her dreams comes true.
The story goes like this, a girl of Dehradun Kriya Ghai (Shakti Mohan) who wanted to become a popular professional dancer, but her enemy is her mom only who hates dancing, so Kriya promised her mom not to dance again. Kriya and her mom come to Mumbai and Kriya manages to get admission in the St. Louis College.
In college she saw a notice about a dance competition which makes her forgot her promise. For that competition she tries to organize her own dance group but for that she has to face many problems and after many problems and obstacles she managed to make a group and gives name to group “Weaklings”.
After winning the competition the story of Kriya comes to end when she leaves the serial in the middle to pursue the dance training from abroad. During her journey till abroad she meet Rey (Kunwar Amarjeet Singh) and fall in love with him. But she leaves Rey and move forward for her carrier in dance.
After Kriya left the show the serial focus on Swayam (Shantanu Maheshwari) and Sharon (Vrushika Mehta) love story. Swayam a shy guy but very intelligent and a good dancer like Kriya and Sharon a girl with attitude. Though there love story was shown with Kriya and Rey but not much focused on Swayam and Sharon story.
Somehow Swayam proposed Sharon and she rejects his proposal, later on she realized that she also love Swayam and accepts his proposal but they kept it secret from their group.
After that Tani (Vrinda Dawda) came to serial as Swayam sister who got affair with Rey and after some time got break-up also then she got engaged. On Tani’s engagement Rey’s father entry was there and he challenged Rey to earn 75, 000 in 6 months. On the mean while Kriya entry was there. She was in contact with Swayam from the day she had gone to New York.
Now Rey starting working on his challenged which was given by his dad. He got idea to start Dance Institute, so he kept his proposal in front of his college trusties, but they refuses. But he did not give up. This struggle of Rey came to know to Kriya, so to help him he came back to Mumbai as an exchange student from her college. But no one of her group accepts her.
Later on Sharon became her friend again just to win Swayam’s attraction, because this time Swayam had done break-up with Sharon. All group members didn’t want to attend Kriya workshop, so Sharon helped the group members to attain Kriya’s work shop.
