UDTA PUNJAB - Movie Review INTRO Bollywood has had a chequered history when it comes to films on drugs. tapeshwaritutun: Is it not amazing that you take umbrage to WREN & MARTIN being called a dictionary. And expect us to stomach your trashy reviews where you make all kinds of personal remarks about avante garde filmmakers like Kashyap & Zoya. What hypocrisy ! Such double standards !!!

tapeshwaritutun: And in regards to your laughable comments on my English, please keep Wren and Martin (it is a dictionary btw ) handy when you read my reviews. I used to reference it in 6th grade.

Why do you need to slander Zoya in order to justify your ridiculous and frankly insipid review? Calling her cheap is in real bad taste. My advice to you. Get well soon.

Must confess this is the first review of yours I have had the pleasure of reading and suffice to say that your review is, for lack of a better word, delicious. The only point on which I beg to differ with you is about the element of gore. This style of treatment of the subject is quintessential noir.... On the point of subtleness, remember there is this dramatic scene in which Angoori Devi's husband dies mysteriously while having his porridge. ( poisoned !!) And even in the middle of the melee that ensues, you can hear the dog's ( established a few scenes ago) moaning in the background. DBB is full of such incredibly subtle nuances.Read More
