Hi, I don brush cuffs and collars and the washing is clean. I don have kids, so not sure about heavily soiled or kids uniforms. But white clothes are still white and any small stains are washed away without brushing. But if it heavy mud stains then u have to brush. AND there is one intence was...h option for heavily soiled clothes which i found was not good as it takes lot of time and water . I tried it on bedsheets. instead i use cotton option with 60 degrees water. and it cleans well. I also use prewash and use ala bleach and little quantity detergent with white clothes. these are all for cotton clothes. I don use synthetic clothes, and there is one option for such clothes too which i havent tried. Water consumption is normal as in other front loaders. and my electricity bill has not taken a high side ,from which i beleive it doesnt draw much power. And fyi, i was looking at IFB aqua model, which has inbuilt hard water softner.there was only one review stating it was good. I called the IFB people for info, but they had no stock even in their factory and none of the home appliances had it. the features were good for this model. but only problem is that service of IFB is really bad, and performace reviews is less. The model is IFB aqua energie. I was looking for 6kg .It took me three months to decide b/w ifb n LG. I was decided on IFB. My LG is 6.5kg as they din have 6 with these features. But as the saying goes, there is no machine in comaprison to hand wash :-). Read More

Hey do u have an 80290np or 85260np... and is the review for both? the review is really good....i am confused whether to go with IFB or LG, as IFB are the best in frontloaders in the market. nowadays LG frontloaders are priced almost same as in IFB in 20's range..I searched online for 80290np model... in LG website, but i found only 80490.. I have gone through the features of 80490NP and 85260NP. The only diff i saw is 90NP is it has baby care option which is not in 60NP, but 90NP has no intensive wash option which is in 60NP. and 90NP is priced bit high.. i don know about the performance as i'm still deciding what to buy.. If u could suggest which is better it will be very helpful.Read More

the online price is now 23500... is it still available for the price u mentioned? how is the wash quatily? how is the performance for hard water? do the service people advice u to use some particular washing powder as in other company washing machines.. does it need a clean up every often?

The entire review seems to be like an advertise by some particular shop keeper or an mrketing agent by LG itself.. I'm looking for reviews on this model.. but not at all convinced by this post .

Hi , I'm planning to buy a washing machine. Many insisted me on buying front loader. And I'm also told that IFB is the best in Front load w/m. The features I'm looking for are inbuilt geaser, fuzzy logic( the machine shd continues from where it stopped in case of power cut), hard water softner and 6...Read more
