Great way to enter mobile computing

II have ORDERED one with 1.8 c2d ,160gb,2gb plus 2yrs complete cover accidental damage warranty for 35400.since i suffered the HP COM PAQ DEFective NVIDIA CHIPSET Problem and their disgustin after sales service which rendered my V3000 LAPTOP useless after 1st year ,i decided to i go with complete co...ver for my new laptop even though it is not required for this time proven intel chipset board.only down side in the case of this laptop is that as of now it is made in malaysia plant and not in chennai plant ,you have to wait as long as a month to get it shipped as Dell will ship the entire consignment of many people put together as a lot to india to save on transportation costs and wont ship it individually to india as in the case of expensive models.Read More

There is a serious issue with the entire HP and Compaq laptop models having NVIDIA chipset graphics,so they have extended the warranty to 2yrs (1yr+1yr extended) for a free motherboard replacement,(to cover up the entire issue) Pls check the link below and find if u are covered under free extended m...otherboard replacement scheme. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/docume nt?docname=c01296338&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=in&p roduct=3360280<=en It is said that the issue cannot be resolved(told by service center people informally) bcos the same complaint will come again after some time but to cover up this issue and to cool down affected customers,HP is doing this replacement drama(It is said that the replaced motherboard is actually a refurberished one,I seriously doubt this bcos the replacement board i received had a rusted firewire port and replacement was done in 4days flat but usually motherboard replacements should take atleast 1 month if it is a new one).And we are not suposed to ask any questions since they are doing this free in the 2nd year,this is their attitude.Read More
