Dan Brown's 'The Lost Symbol'
Deepakji, I have just finished reading the book ''The Lost Symbol'' and had earlier read the book ''The Da Vinci Code''. I have yet to read the other books written by him. Some things become clearer to me after reading both these books. After reading your brief summation about the book, I would like... to read your full review before I make any real comment on these issues. Keep up the good work !! CA Vikram S. MathurRead More

Nitin, I am amazed by the clarity and simpleness of your posting, which left nothing to imagination and I must say, it is much better than what I could have written, even though I have been using GMail since the time it began. Keep smiling, post more reviews and best of luck!!

Tastiest Non-veg Joint in town Sheeba Delicious - Satellite - Ahmedabad
This review was writtein in 2002, unfortunately, the hotel was shut down in the early part of 2008 and the building too has since been sold off. Sad, but true. Thanks to vandandlal for reminding me to post my own comment to my earlier posted review.

Splendor is the best!!
I bought my Hero Honda Spendor at a time when I was working as a Consultant in Vatva, a place in Ahmedabad which is a good 22 km away from my home. Since I had to travel more than 44 km daily at least on a daily basis, I was looking for a vehicle which would give me better fuel efficiency than m...Read more

Delivering an Effective Speech
(Updated Mar 26, 2006 02:07 AM)
As a child, I used to be often tongue-tied at the wonderful speeches that people used to make, which we often got an opportunity to hear because our parents were always so very well connected. Both brothers of my father used to be in the Service of the Government, the youngest one was an IAS Off...Read more

Nokia 6630
(Updated Mar 26, 2006 01:30 AM)
Dear Friends, I must honestly admit that I have recently upgraded my cell phone from a Nokia 3530 to a Nokia 6600, as that was the only phone that fit into my budget, although my personal wish was to possess a Nokia 6630. One of the primary reasons that I wished to purchase this phone is t...Read more

The queens of hearts... Five Most Beautiful Indian Actresses
I think I agree almost totally with what you have written in your review, in fact, some of the opinions match very closely. Only point of dissent is about Rani Mukherjee. Personally, I think Rani is a great actress, but as far as beauty goes, Aishwarya beats her hands down. Lets not forget that it t...akes a lot more than just superficial beauty to make it to Miss World!! Regards, Vikram MathurRead More

Aha.. Five Most Beautiful Indian Actresses
Methinks your review was well meant and in the right direction, only the obtuse references for washing up were lost! Anyways, the only comment that I would like to make is about the first and last choice in your list. Kareena is the only female actress that I can think of, who can wear the least ...of clothes and still manage to look believably innocent. On the other extreme, Bipasha Basu in JISM looked and oozed with desire in every scene of the film. I believe she did what she was expected to and John Abraham was great too. Keep up the good work, you two!!Read More

How does FilmFare ??
(Updated Jun 11, 2003 09:05 PM)
Ever since I was allowed to read film magazines, I remember reading Filmfare. Not only because my mother loved reading it, but because she loved reading this magazine everytime we would travel by train, which was quite often in those days. Since we lived in Jabalpur, and my Dad & Mum were always...Read more

Review: Quite often I have wondered why people choose software other than Outlook Express 6 which comes as a free-ware with Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6 and certain other software I have never bothered to check out. Anyway, there are a number of reasons why I would stick to OE6 and not even s...Read more

I am a 5 ft 10.5 in, well built tending to be hefty guy, good natured and easy-going, maybe a bit to...o frank and blunt at times, but then you could excuse me for being a typical Sagiittarian. I wear specs of an averagely high power. I smile and laugh easily and am very very fond of children and exult in their innocence. I have a lovely daughter who is the apple of my eye. I have no hassles with any person known to me and cannot think of anyone who could have a hassle with me. That's it!. I am deeply interested in my field of work, for that is my bread and butter, and that is in the field of accountancy, audit and taxation. But I am equally interested in Computers, Internet and in Programming. I began as a programmer in Clipper and after having built a few packages which are used even till date, thanks to my passion for Object Oriented Programming (OOP), I was quite successful then. Now I am programming in VBA in Excel, and do a bit of programming in Microsoft Access as well - currently only so far as it helps me in my profession as a CA. I am an avid Internet Surfer, and have been downloading (mostly freeware and shareware) programs from the internet. Currently I am learning Visual Basic 6.0 entirely under my own steam.Read More
