When one visit's a resteraunt repeatedly, one naturally tends to repeat visit's only to those resteraunts where one likes the Flavour of the food served, or one is attended well by the staff especially as far as the speed of service is concerned. What I personally have always liked about Sheeba Resteraunt is that the staff is very cordial and polite, and if you reserve your table on phone, you don't really have to wait for too long for your turn. Basically one goes to the resteraunt to enjoy experience of eating good food in a good joint, having a good gentry apart from the ease of having the lady of the house not cook once in a while. Now the tandoori chicken at Sheeba Resteraunt has but one competitor in town, and that is Cafe Upper Crust. But there is no one who can beat the Boneless Butter Chicken served at Sheeba. YUM, every time I think of it, my mouth starts watering!
A couple of times we landed up there without first reserving a table, but even then, since we are regular visitors to Sheeba we were accomodated much faster than the other people, because we know the owner, since my daughter studies in the same school as his daughters did, apart from the fact that we share the same doctor! Well, contacts like that do help, but then I am told that the staff does not keep anyone waiting for more that 15-20 minutes max.
On a sunday, it would be suicidal to reach Sheeba without first booking a reservation and you may just have to smother your chicken instinct, or go to some other resteraunt where you feel you'd have a better chance. That is because the appeal of Sheeba has caught on to a large extent, even thier take-home order's flow in fast and free. So if you live in the Satellite or Drive-In Road area, you can just pick up the phone and dial the number (Sorry, I don't have the number ready right now) and enjoy the Sheeba food right in the comfort of your home! Of course, you might have to be careful of nosy vegetarian neighbors!!
