They were not as bad as described in the above review. Language might be a problem (No issue if you can talk Tamil), and they might seem to be rude, but they are not.They were nice and accomodative.

Recently got it for my home and they are good, Rs 25 per sq ft. Actual net cost is about Rs 17 per sq ft. Some quote as high as Rs 30 per sq ft, baragain and you might be able to bring it down to 27/25 per sq ft based on the total area.
Sagging wont be there if you fit it properly after removing ...it. Also can use a vaccum cleaner instead of washing it.Read More

This was a recent conversion I over heard while riding Chennai suburban train. He seemed to be a doctor, and he was telling why he quit his job from life line hospital. Looks like the management was questioning him on why he was not sending patients for some expensive test.... and they were mad that... they have invested so much on some equipment and they are not generating enough revenue out of it. He said he cant work in such an un ethical place and quit his job .........Read More

Try Auto and you'll love Fasttrack call taxi. 60 more because new charges by airport. You are supposed to get out of Airport in 5 mins, else Airport charges you. This is just to cover it. Most of these guys are from south tamil nadu. They dont speek english / hindi, the way they speak might sound ru...de to you, but they might not.
Have been in chennai for more than 10 years, and can tell you. They are better than Auto !!Read More

Always get the Policy document and read it carefully. The policy document provided by SBI is not really complex and large .... Front end staff of SBI sucks, but thier products are good !!

Better go to the nearby SBI Bank, walk right into the Managers desk and talk to him. Its worth all the pain. Either you face the stupid front end of Nationalized Banks, and get a loan based on solid and ethical policy. Or go to the private bank with all those smart and fancy front end .... and face ...thier crooked and manipulating, Policy.Read More

SBI charged me extra for the following Insurance. They didnt bother to send the policy documents, I had to make a couple of escalations to get it.
1) Life Insurance to cover the Loan amount for entire loan tenure (Cost - about .5% of the property cost)
2) Property insurance for which loan is ...sought ( Cost - about .25% of the property cost)

All I had to do was send a mail with my mobile number, got a call in 5 minutes and policy document reached home in 2 days.

Better go with SBI... (Floating %)
- They do a through document check and the check the construction site for deviations
- They ensure that the constuction / sale agreement are not favouring the builder, and is safe for you.
- Pay the money to builder only after physical verification of the... construction, to ensure that deviation from approved plan if any are within the limits.
- Intrest charged on monthly depreciating balance
- No pre payment / part pre payment penalty
- Loan terms are very easy to read and understand - just 6 pages in my case in simple understandable english
Problems with SBI
- It takes a couple of months, you can make it a month and a half if you have some relative working in SBI and make them push it.
- They'll make you pay for SBI life insurance to cover the loan cost (In case of death loan balance loan amount will be paid by the Insurance company and property goes to your family), and Insure the property for the loan tenure(In case of any damage to the property Insurance will pay for it). Additional burden but very essential ones though.
Net Net --- Worth all the pain you go through for couple of months, you dont have to worry for another 10/15 years till you close the loan.Read More

Crash Gaurd or (Front and Rear Gaurd) will only make things worse in case of collision. The front and rear metal parts are supposed to crumple a bit and take the shock, installing the Crash Gaurd will only make things worse. Also you might end up with damage to your car structure instead of plastic ...bumper. All the dealers insist on it as they can make good money, just think how much those pipes will cost when purchased in bulk.Read More

Some of the company owned show rooms are pathetic than the retailers. Try Samsung showroom in Chennai, Chrompet. They have some horrible staff and the price is atleast 2K costlier than other dealers near by.
They should improve the customer service !!

I got it in 50 days. I had to take leave for a couple of days from work. Now I dont have to worry about it for the next 10 or so years !!

Chennai .... - Most of the shops accept card in T-Nagar, only jewelery shops ask for 1% VAT if you pay by card. Just take your card dont carry to much cash. If possible get one of those SBI cards, its will ask for ATM PIN even when you make purchase.
- When you go with friends watch out for each o...ther and be alert. These kind of things happen in Train / Bus / T Nagar and all other places where there is crowd.
- Avoid crowd, go early, If possible wear jeans and put things in jean front pocket it will be tough to pick. Legal system is pathetic in India, they'd expect something or a call from Senior officer to even log a complaint (FIR), let alone take action on it.Read More

You got to be choosy when you buy things from Reliance rotten !! Some are cheap some are rotten. We buy branded items with expiry date in Reliance fresh, Coconut from a Coconut merchant in Radhanagar, Groceries from nearby Annachi Kadai, Rice from near by Arusi Mandi, Banana and fruits from nearby v...endors.
